In this video Kristin Fagerback encourages viewers, especially younger people or those with fewer responsibilities, to consider moving to another country. She stresses that a stable digital income is the foundation for such a move, recommending starting with online English teaching, freelance work, or a small side business. Once a reliable online salary is secured, she suggests investing in ventures like Airbnb arbitrage—running short‑term rentals in the U.S. while living abroad—to stretch earnings further. She highlights that AI tools now make finding remote jobs and building online businesses easier across fields such as marketing, sales, and engineering. Fagerback warns against moving with debt, urging at least two separate income streams to provide a safety net. For the relocation process, she advises scouting target locations (e.g., Thailand, Bali, Vietnam’s Hoi An or Nha Trang) as a tourist, consulting visa‑help agencies, and arranging rentals before transitioning from a tourist visa to a longer‑term stay. Throughout, she includes a disclaimer that the advice is not financial advice and asks viewers not to sue her.
