In this 2‑minute vlog, Kit Neoh chronicles his second day of a 55‑day stay in San Francisco. He rushes from a 9:30 am Caltrain ride to multiple startup events in Palo Alto and San Francisco, describing the frantic transit (Lyft delays, train schedules) that frames his day. Kit meets a Founder Institute partner who offers referrals and discusses the H‑1B visa challenges many founders face. He then attends a finance‑focused event at Morrison Forster, where he connects with a Kleiner Perkins venture capitalist who shows interest in his startup, Jellybean. Later, at a photo‑video networking event on Mission Street, Kit meets an ex‑CEO of Square (who worked with Jack Dorsey) and gains insights on scaling a startup. Reflecting on the experience, Kit contrasts the vibrant US startup ecosystem with the limited opportunities in Malaysia, urging viewers to consider a short‑term stay in San Francisco for exposure. He promises a deeper product demo of Jellybean in an upcoming vlog and encourages followers to connect on Snapchat (Kit Neoh). The tone is informal, energetic, and optimistic, highlighting both the logistical grind and the high‑value networking outcomes of his day.

It's about 9:30 now in San Francisco, and I just boarded the Caltrain to Palo Alto, and I was really rushing because I woke up at 9:00 and the train leaves at 9:30, so gotta hustle. Hopefully today's a good start, and we'll see what happens. I'll update you more tonight. Ciao! I'm here at the Founders Space event, and look right behind me. It's quite a lot of people. Off to another startup event right now, and I'm freaking late because of Lyft. I don't know why Lyft service keeps screwing me up, man. Seriously. So today is day 2 of my 55 days adventure in San Francisco, and It has been a really tiring day, but also a really productive day. As I said, I left to Palo Alto this morning, and I came back with really good news. I met one of the Founder Institute partners, and he actually made referrals, introductions to different entrepreneurs and different companies to actually try in hopes to shed some light on the H-1B visa. And apparently different— some founders also have problems with visas to stay in the US to build their own company. So really looking forward to that. And after I went to— after I came back from Palo Alto, I straight jumped into Lyft, Lyft Lyft. It's kind of like the Uber competitor Lyft. And I went straight to— what's it called? It's called Morrison Forster. I think it's a finance company. I went to their office and there was another startup event and I met a person. I've talked to a couple of entrepreneurs and really, really smart people. Really, really smart people. And I met a person from— I met a VC from Kleiner Perkins. Kleiner Perkins, they're kind of like a huge venture capital fund like Sequoia Capital. They fund Series A startups and Series A funding and stuff like that. And apparently Kleiner Perkins funded in early Facebook, Pinterest, Apple and couple of companies, and one of the VCs actually talked to me, and she seems to express interest in what I'm trying to do with Jellybean. So I'm trying to keep more tabs on that, and we'll just see what happens. And after that event, I shoot straight down to Mission Street and I went to another startup event, which was kind of like a photo video place where you show your work, but at the same time you network with different people. And I met an ex-Square CEO, so which is ex-CEO Square. I'm pretty sure he worked with Jack Dorsey, um, the co-founder of Twitter. Yeah, um, so it was actually really nice experience to meet someone with such caliber, talk about his experience in building Square to, towards a, from a startup to a company it is now. So it's actually really nice talking to this kind of people and it's super inspiring. Especially talking to these people. And so far, 2 days here, I've been hustling my ass off going to like different events, and it has worked out so well for me. And it's actually really late now, it's about 2 AM. Well, almost— it's technically day 3 in San Francisco, and it's this experience. I don't think there's anywhere like— I'm pretty sure you can always do that in different countries countries, but if I was— if anyone were to be in Malaysia, I don't think there are such things in Malaysia for now. It's so different way out here. And if any of you guys are in Malaysia or somewhere else around the world who's interested in the startup environment, like seriously, give it a thought. Um, just pack your bags, fly out to San Francisco, and just stay here for like 3 3 months in this hacker house that I'm currently staying in, or you can find somewhere else on Airbnb. It's actually really awesome. It changes your mindset and gives you a different perspective. So check it out. I'll vlog again tomorrow— well, technically today— and I'll keep you posted on what's happening. Also, this weekend I'll be free to do a vlog on what Jelly Bean is all about, so do catch that vlog because I really want to show you guys what Jelly Bean is all about and how you can use it and how it's— what type of product that it is on the web. So do check out the vlog and do check out my Snapchat as well. I'll be posting like stories from time to time. Thanks, thank you Zane for telling me that. Thank you. So I'll be posting like stories from time to time and I'll show like snippets of whatnot, but every end of the day I'll do a summary of what happened. And if it's a pressing topic that I'd like to let you guys know about, I'll definitely talk to you guys about it. But yeah, do follow me on Snapchat. It's Kit Neoh, K-I-T-N-E-O-H on Snapchat. Yeah, and do check out my story. So see ya.
