In this vlog, Kit Neoh spends Day 5 of his 55‑day San Francisco stay touring the headquarters of major tech companies—Twitter, Airbnb, and Pinterest—while providing on‑camera commentary and brief exterior/limited interior footage. He meets Anders, a Copenhagen‑based founder of Startup Travels, who explains his platform that connects traveling entrepreneurs and mentions a pending partnership with Airbnb. Kit then shows the loft view from their hacker house, highlighting a panoramic night‑time skyline of the city. The conversation shifts to the hacker house community, noting the arrival of the first female hacker and discussing the broader gender imbalance in computer science. Kit outlines his plans for the next day: meeting investors in Palo Alto, possibly visiting Stanford, and attending a Hackers Founder event at Pedro Cantina. The vlog ends with personal remarks about sleep deprivation and a casual good‑night.

Today is day 5 and I'm actually meeting someone at Twitter. I'm actually going for a Twitter interview. Nah, just kidding. But yeah, I'm at Twitter HQ. It's right above me. Let me just show you. That's the famous Twitter sign. I don't know if you can see, but yeah. Further down is Uber and Square. Company. So it's actually very windy right now, and, uh, I'm actually going, going around the city just to check out the city. Hopefully maybe I can get a couple of good pictures. But yeah, it's actually a very— this side, I think this side is the, um, this side is the big startup kind of place. You have all the famous companies that you heard of, most of their HQ are right here. I think that— I think this is Twitter main HQ. So yeah, I'll vlog more. Hi guys, right now we are at Airbnb HQ and this guy here is Anders, he's from Copenhagen and he's gonna tell you about the startup that he's working on.
Yeah, so hello Malaysia, nice to meet all of you. I'm Anders, I'm from Copenhagen, I'm here in San Francisco right now. I've got this company called Startup Travels which is basically what we're doing right now. So it's a platform for traveling entrepreneurs. Basically, whenever people are traveling somewhere around the world, it should be easier to meet local like-minded entrepreneurs. And that's basically like a meetup like we're having right now.
So there you heard it from Anders. So that's his company, which he's trying to do now. And yeah, he's got a partnership with Airbnb.
So hopefully upcoming, hopefully upcoming partnership.
Hopefully, yeah. Okay, actually we can actually show you a little bit of Airbnb, what's inside. Yes, this one is the only thing that you can see inside Airbnb. We can't go in right now, but it's a freaking cool HQ, really nice HQ. And if you guys are actually talented enough or skilled enough, you can actually apply to Airbnb. Maybe they'll accept you in Singapore or Malaysia if they have one. So Airbnb, if you are listening right now, I think you have an office in Malaysia, so do hire me. Just kidding. Okay guys, now we are at Pinterest HQ, which looks something like— I still can't go in, so I'm just gonna show you from the outside. So yeah, this is what Pinterest inside, if you Pinterest users This is what Pinterest is, and I can only take video from the outside. But yeah, so I'm with Anders now, and he actually brought me up to like, uh, the loft of, um, the place where he's staying at. And look at the view! Oh my God, so beautiful here.
Let me show you the view.
So I'm gonna do a panorama. Dinghy. Look at the view of San Francisco from top here. Nighttime is really, really nice. So beautiful, so beautiful. I'm afraid of heights, but yeah, fuck it. So nice, you get to see like the almost the whole of San Francisco from this place. It's pretty awesome, pretty damn awesome. So this is, uh, Twitter from the top.
If you can see, that's where all the Twitter people hang out, which is actually freaking awesome.
So right now we are in Garaje and having dinner with my roommates. And this is Hassan.
What's up, man?
I see. Hello. Yeah, we are just chilling, just chilling here for dinner and try to— we are networking among ourselves. Hey Kit, who are you talking to? Myself.
Okay, so today is the end of day 5, and what I really, really did most of the day today is just meeting Anders and shoot us a couple of emails and went to the Airbnb HQ and Pinterest HQ. And like today at the Hacker House, we have like our first female person here, and everyone here is like all male, which is kind of boring, I would say. By having a first female, it's a first female who is a hacker. It's kind of like a breath of fresh air. Like I I don't know if I know any girls who are doing computer science. Like, there are so little females doing computer science, it's almost like non-existent. So it's kind of cool, kind of nice to see girls actually taking up something which is very technical. Yeah, so it's pretty cool. So, um, tomorrow I'm actually going down to Palo Alto again. To meet up with a couple of investors, and I might be actually dropping by Stanford, but I'm not sure if it's spring break already. So, uh, um, probably. And yeah, tomorrow I'm going for a Hackers Founder event as well at Pedro Cantina at 7. So it's gonna be fun. It's gonna be a fun day tomorrow. Let's see what happens tomorrow.
Yeah.
But I gotta wake up early and I just need sleep. I haven't been sleeping well. I think I haven't been even getting a lot of sleep lately because of all this work and stuff like that. So it's time for me to get some sleep. Good night, guys. Bye.
