Thought I could make it through it, but I ended up actually calling 911, and I actually ended up going to the hospital for about a day and a half. As a physician, I've been monitoring this Earthing and Grounding Forum for over 5 years, and there are a significant number of people who try to earth and ground, and what they have discovered are vague symptoms like headaches and insomnia and body aches and even heart palpitations. If you are earthing and grounding and you have any of those symptoms and people are telling you it's detox or Herxing, stop. If it's truly detox or Herxing, which I'm not convinced clinically that that is possible, but let's say it is, it should only last less than a week. But if the symptoms persist or they get worse, stop.
So I got back problems while I was using this technique.
At night, you don't even realize what's going on and you may not wake up.
And I also got, uh, heart arrhythmia problems showed up eventually. And you can actually simply stop those heart arrhythmias by avoiding grounding systems.
And when you ground yourself, when you ground your body, you now become an antenna for all these waves to, you know, to hit because you are grounded. You are going to ground, so these electrical waves want to, want to get to ground.

Today we're going to be talking about grounding, or earthing as some people call it, and why it can be dangerous. Uh, dangerous enough where it landed me in the hospital a couple of days ago. Be smart with your body. Smarter, smarter than I was. Grounding is where people come in contact with the earth. People take their Shoes off, walk barefoot in the grass for a certain time of the day, an hour a day or 30 minutes a day. Or some people actually bury themselves, you know, half their bodies in the earth. Theory behind it is the electrons in the earth, which your body needs electrons for the electrical functions of your body. Your heart is controlled by electrical functions, your brain, every organ in your body is controlled by electrical impulse. So you need the electron, you need electron electrons in your body. So it made perfect sense, me being an electronics engineer, so it made perfect sense that, you know, human— humans may not be getting the proper amount of electrons since we walk around with rubber soles on our shoes and we don't come in contact with the earth that often. So I gave it a shot. They sell things like on Amazon, places like that, where you actually ground yourself to the ground, plugs into that ground of your house outlet And then you either sleep on it, they have mats, or they have some that you can stick down your socks, they come in contact with your feet. So I slept with this thing in my socks for 4 nights. On the 4th morning when I woke up, my heart was pounding like you wouldn't believe. I was having skipped beats and just felt just lightheaded and everything. I thought I could make it through it. I ended up actually calling 911, and I actually ended up going to the hospital for about a day and a half. So after I got home from the hospital, I said, "Well, I better check, I better check my ground outlets." So I checked using a voltmeter. When I did that, it registered 50 volts AC. I can almost guarantee you I was getting some voltage, AC voltage, pumping into my body. Now, how can that be? You say, how can the ground of your house, which is supposed to be grounded into the ground, have voltage? Well, there's a few ways that can happen. The power companies can actually use the ground as a return back to the power plant. So that could be another reason how your ground could actually become electrified. The ones that are— the devices that are sold on Amazon and stuff have a little fuse in there. It's like a 10 milliamp, probably would have blown if I'd had that in there. So that would have been a safety device, but I don't think it's going to be worth even doing this therapy if you have a 10 milliamp fuse in there because the wire is so small, it'd be like you touching, taking a wire that's as thin as a hair on your head and touching that to the ground and expecting that to have some kind of a health benefit. That ain't, that isn't going to cut it because It's just not enough surface area for much to flow through there. So one way you can do it is they say to stick the copper— stick a copper rod down in the ground outside of a window and then run the wire into your house and then attach that to yourself that way. Although I think it's safer.
I don't know if it's truly safe. Hi, my name is Stephen McGee, and I'm the author of Toxic Electricity.
I'm here to talk about the earthing health technique, and there's a whole book on this subject. This is the book. People have started using earthing and grounding systems as a way of improving their health. And it's, it's a very risky activity. And I came across this health technique when I was actually researching the toxicity of the electrical system. I was a little bit horrified to actually find that people are actually plugging themselves into the utility earthing and grounding systems and hoping it's going to improve the health, because you're actually plugging in to the utility neutral connection when you do that. And there's some very definite risks with doing that, and they're called stray voltage and stray current. And stray voltage and stray current and the health effects in both humans and animals is very extensively documented in this book. It's called Electrocution of America by Russ Allen. And, uh, it's something you need to realize that if you're gonna buy this book and you're gonna follow the earthing and grounding techniques outlined in it, that you need to realize that you should probably have this book as well, because this book details all of the risks associated with the techniques that are outlined in this book. But when I came across it, I thought it was the socially responsible thing to actually assess the technique and to try and develop it. I'm an electrical engineer. I have a degree in electrical and electronic engineering, and I'm a Chartered Electrical Engineer. So I put this copper cable on my bed several months ago, and I've been sleeping on it. And this copper cable, it has a 100kΩ resistor in it. It goes out to a grounding rod that is in my back garden. So this cable is connected through an 8-foot ground rod to my garden, and it's as far away from the electrical system as you can possibly get. And I have to say, it actually eventually made me quite sick. So, uh, it appears that Russ Allan is quite correct in his assessment that connecting into electrical grounding systems is actually quite a harmful activity. So it means that this copper cable is actually likely picking up on contamination from the utility electrical grounding system, which is the utility neutral transformer connection, which is energized. And the health symptoms that showed up in me were joint problems, so I got back problems while I was using this technique, which have now cleared up. And I also got heart arrhythmia problems showed up eventually, and that's why I stopped using it, because Russ Allen documents that the animals with prolonged exposure to the grounding systems are actually dying. So I don't particularly want to die of a heart attack, so I was quite concerned that heart arrhythmias And you can actually simply stop those heart arrhythmias by avoiding grounding systems and also by avoiding high voltage aerial power lines. So that was the interesting outcome of this experiment, and I just wanted to report it. And for me, I've decided that this earthing health technique is quite risky and I no longer use it, and I basically came to the same conclusions as Rossella.
Napoli este year. Hello, Ivo. I plan to make a film together with you. I'm so happy. Can't wait to meet you. I suppose that's all for today. I think that this is the end of today's story. If the power company decides to, you know, have the ground be the return, and you're going to get shocked, and it might happen in the middle of the night when you don't even realize what's going on, and you may not wake up. The other, uh, theory is that with all the Wi-Fi bouncing around in the city— almost everything's wireless: cell phones, cell towers, your, your electric meter, the water meters— almost everything's Wi-Fi now. So you got all these frequencies bouncing around, and when you ground yourself, when you ground your body, you now become an antenna for all these waves to, you know, to hit because you are grounded. You are going to ground. So these electrical waves want to, want to get to ground, so they're going to be attracted to you and that stuff's going to flow through your body more than it would if you weren't grounded. And so I'm making a video so other people don't, you know, don't have that happen. And maybe somebody could— I'm sure there's people that probably died trying to do this therapy. I don't want to see that happen to anybody. But even pumping low voltage into your body over a period of time is not a good thing. So it could cause, well, heart rhythm issues, which is what I think I had. I would, I would not recommend it myself. I would not recommend it at all. So that's a little information on earthing or grounding and how it landed me in the hospital.
This many automatic asphalts.
