Are you ready to take your community content, courses and live events to the next level? In this video, we're diving into the best community and membership platforms of 2024. Whether you're running a membership community, selling a course, or looking for a branded app for your business, we've got you covered. Let's get started. First up, there's Mighty Networks, a community platform built on people magic where you can run online courses, chat, live stream, organize events and grow a very successful membership all in one place under your brand. A mighty network exists to bring people together around a purpose, an interest, a goal or a passion. This means creating the easiest and most obvious ways for your members to meet each other when taking your courses, joining your membership, or being part of your thriving community. In addition, they have a suite of native features that bring everything under one roof. What's more, Mighty Networks is the ultimate membership platform, allowing you to sell subscriptions, gated contents and courses and events, all of which can be packaged into bundles. You can also offer your content in over 135 different currencies. There are also game changing AI features that instantly generate branding and marketing materials for your community in seconds. With Mighty's AI features, you'll never get stuck outlining courses, creating sales pages, or even generating engaging discussion questions. With their infinite question engine, AI is seamlessly integrated throughout the product to make a thriving community radically easier. Last but not least, the Mighty Networks app is available on all devices, so you and your members will be able to access all of your content on desktop, iOS or Android. Now let's talk about Mighty Pro, which is a platform designed for businesses, brands and creators looking for a branded app with native community features. Mighty Pro has hundreds of customers, each with a dedicated community strategist overseeing migrations, launch plans and ongoing strategy optimization. It's people magic on your own branded apps with an expert team behind you, you get to harness the power of Mighty's top rated community software brand, the whole experience and have your own app in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. As a Mighty Pro host, you'll be able to work with a team of account executives and community strategists who have scaled seven figure creator brands and eight figure subscription businesses. Next up there's HireLogic, which has two community solutions and and Vanilla, which is a B2B community solution tailored for customer communities. Higher Logic offers content management, group creation and interactive features like questions and polls. You can also customize it to align with your brand and deploy it as a white label app. Higher Logic isn't designed for monetization, though it's solely focused on creating customer communities. Next on the list is Disciple, which is an app first community platform. Disciple provides a white label app with a range of community features including discussions, live streaming and and profiles. It's also API friendly, supports webhook integrations and it can also embed with Eventbrite or Ticketmaster. If you're looking to build anything beyond community, Disciple's features may feel limited. Disciple's pricing is also based on the number of members you have, which will increase as your community grows. Now let's talk about HiveBright, which started out as an alumni platform but is expanding into other types of communities. Hivebrite's features include dedicated forums, a content management system and the ability to create a job board. There's also event management features for in person events like an event calendar, invitations, ticketing and payments. And if you want to take it a step further, there's also an option to have your own branded app. Next is Kajabi, which is a platform for course creators who want powerful marketing features. Kajabi has a great online course learning management system for pre recorded courses. It also offers excellent marketing features like email list, landing pages, automation and being able to create upsells and downsells. There is a community option, but it requires a separate login and a separate app for your members to access. It's also the most expensive platform on this list and there is no option to create your own branded app. And next up is Circle, which is a community platform for brands and creators. Circle offers a variety of community tools including content options, live streaming and cohort course options for teaching live courses. You also have the ability to sell and monetize memberships. In terms of pricing, there are extra fees for going above the limits for members, hosts and admins. Moving on, there's Patreon, which is a platform for creators working on a patronage model. Patreon enables creators to receive monthly pledges in exchange for perks, making it ideal for creating fan supported content. However, it lacks native features for community or course offerings and many Patreon creators have their following on other social media platforms. Transaction fees can also get expensive since it's percentage based, so the fees will increase as you earn more. Next on the list is Facebook Groups which could be an option if you're looking for a free forum based membership with no monetization. As a social media platform, you and your members would be able to have profiles, tag each other in posts, have threaded discussions and access your community through the Facebook app. You also have a variety of content options and live streaming. However there's no built in monetization so if you wanted to sell memberships you would have to use a third party solution. You and your members would also be competing with the Facebook algorithm so some of your posts may not get shown. Last on the list is Geneva, a group chat app allowing your groups to more easily talk with each other. Geneva is a great option for people who already know each other. It focuses on being a group chat app for social groups like friends and family, school clubs or sports teams. With Geneva, you and your members can do chat rooms online, audio rooms, forums, video rooms and broadcasts. Though Geneva is free to use, you cannot collect payments or sell memberships natively. So as you can see, there's a community platform for every type of creator, brand or business and we hope you find the best membership platform for your goals.
