Creating Plans, Gates & Subscriptions in Your Mighty Network

Let's talk about how you provide access to your Mighty network. Here at mighti, we highly recommend that you charge for access. That's because we know that people pay attention to what they pay for. Your members are more likely to log in every day, engage and connect with other members when they are paying. To set up your gates, click on your profile photo and open up Admin. From there, head down to your plan list and click on the plus button in the top right hand corner. If you're selling your main membership access to your Mighty network, then you can toggle your Mighty network to included right here. This means that when somebody joins this plan, they will be a full network member. They will have access to things like your global member list and be able to send and receive DMs from there. Feel free to add spaces that you want them to access in this plan. Keep in mind that this can always be customized. If you decide down the line that you want to include a new space on this plan or or remove a space from the plan, you can always do so. From there, scroll down and add any details the plan name, a custom image or video, a sales pitch, a benefits list, and a description just like the spaces on the plan. This can all be edited down the line. Next, click Gates. Like I mentioned earlier, we highly recommend you keep payments toggled on. That said, if you're creating a free plan for your moderators or maybe for your founding members, you can always toggle payments off. To make this free, I'm going to keep it on for now. You've also got the ability to toggle on approvals for this plan. This means that as a host, you can approve prospective members before they can access this plan. You can also turn on screening questions, which will allow you to add up to five questions that members must answer before accessing the plan. Both screening questions and approvals are great if you want to specify exactly who can access your Mighty network and make sure that only your ideal members are paying and joining. From there, click next to configure at the top. You can add those five questions, then scroll down and add your payments. I'm going to opt to charge on web, though you can also choose to charge on iOS. And here at Mighty, we also highly recommend that you charge a subscription fee. You have the option to combine offers, meaning you can combine subscription intervals and offer members on this plan both a monthly option and an annual option. You've got plenty more flexibility here whether you want to charge a daily price, a weekly price, a quarterly price, and so on and so forth. But for this example, I'm going to stick with the average price that hosts charge for access to a mighty network, which is $48 a month and $500 a year, you've got the option to add a free trial. Your free trial can be customized and added down the line. If you want to change the length that members can test out the plan before they're charged, then click to finish this plan. You're going to see a preview of how this plan will appear on your landing page where they have the option to purchase it. Make sure it looks right, and then go ahead and click to create your plan. From there you'll want to head to the Visibility and Sharing section. If you are sending this plan out to specific people in your life, you can go ahead and click to create plan Share links and send this link to send them directly to this plan. If you're ready to launch your Mighty network and start selling access to anyone who comes across your Mighty Network landing page, go ahead and toggle on in your Landing page and global header. Now let's go ahead and see how this looks. In your landing page, scroll up in your left hand navigation bar and click on Landing page. From there, click to edit it. You can then decide where you want your plans to appear. For example, as soon as you introduce members to your offer, do you want to go ahead and add that option for them to pay or do you want to include it farther down? To add and customize this, just click on the plus button between sections and then select your plan carousel. Depending on how many plans you have visible on the landing page, they will appear here. You can then save and publish this and your members can start paying for access to your mighty network. If you'd like to sell multiple tiers for access that members can upgrade and downgrade between, you can head back to your plan list. Remember, admin is always searchable. You can go ahead and duplicate the plan that you created and then add more spaces to it. For example, for a higher price, I want to include access, the gear and what's new space and the member missions and milestones. I'll go ahead and add in a name. I'll click next for gates, I'll toggle screening questions on off. For this one I'll configure and then I can go ahead and add my price. Typically, we recommend that you offer a slight discount for folks that purchase the annual option to reward them for paying upfront for the entire year. Once again, toggle the plan to being visible on your landing page. That way people can purchase when they come across your offer on the Internet. And that's how you gate access to your mighty network using plans and payments.
