How Gamification Works in Mighty Networks

Here at Mighty, we do gamification a little differently. Our goal is to focus on member collaboration and connection so that members feel inclined to come back over and over again and create people magic. That's why we created Streaks. Members are encouraged to come back to your Mighty network every day, day after day, to receive a new streak. And when members log in every day for 3 days, 7 days, 14 days, etc. They receive a streak emoji. When you click on your profile photo and open up Admin, you're able to go ahead and check out the different streak emojis that we offer. For example, members get the star emoji for a three day streak, the diamond emoji for a 60 day streak, and so on and so forth. What about using those points? Head over to the Community Value section of Admin. Here you can decide how members can use their points to recognize other members. Go ahead and toggle your community values on. Then you can create new values depending on what you want your members to embody in your Mighty network. Go ahead and click Create and select Create from Recommendations to check out the beautiful badges and examples that our designers created for you. For example, if you want members to recognize each other for being radiant or inspiring, charismatic or adventurous, just go ahead and click on that icon, name it, whatever feels right, and either use the badge that we create for you or add your own. Then all you need to do is click Save. Now, going forward, when your members click on each other's profiles, they'll have the option to recognize each other, keeping in mind that members receive 10 points every time they log into your Mighty network. And to recognize another members is 20 points. Members can recognize more and more the more that they log in. For example, I can go ahead and recognize Elisa for being playful, send her a custom note, and then click Recognize. Now Elisa will have that recognition in her profile for everyone to see.
