Badges are a fun way for you to recognize your members and reward them for their status and achievements. So let's go ahead and set up a badge. First you'll go to Admin and Badges and create a badge. So I'm going to create one for my founding members and I'm going to add a description here, my numbers, and then I'm going to go ahead and add a badge image. So you can upload your own image or you can click Suggestions here. If I click Suggestions here, what it will do is it will actually give me a suggestion based on my badge description here. So make sure that you fill this out so that you can get the best suggestion. So here is the suggestion, the image that was generated by OpenAI based on my description and I like it. So I'm going to go ahead and click Save. Now that I've created the badge, I need to assign it to members. So if I click the three dot menu here, you'll see I have a lot of different options. I can edit the badge. Well, if you click into this, you can edit all of those fields after you create them. But I'm going to go ahead and add the badge to members. So what you can do is you can go ahead and just click this little search box here and you can select them, or you can type in their names and search for all the members that you want to apply the badge to. And then when you click Add Badge, they'll actually get a notification that they were applied a badge. If you go ahead and click See Members here, you'll see a list of all of the members that have this badge. So you can remove add a badge or remove a badge individually. If you click into the name here, you'll see that this is what we call the member detail page. So you'll see that there's a way to add and remove badges here as well, inside of the member list. So this is our member list here with the filter for a particular badge. But if I deselect that here or I just go to the member list here in admin, you'll see that there are ways for you to do bulk actions. So say for example, I wanted to go to filter my member list by a particular space. So say for example, I wanted to filter it by the start here space. And I realized that I want to add Claire, Tessa, Luke, or all of the members in this space. I wanted to assign them that founding member badge. So I could do that inside of bulk actions here and I would just click Add Badge and then I would select the founding members and then click Add Badge here. I can also then remove the badge as well by clicking Remove Badge and founding members and then Remove Badge. So that's a way to one way to bulk apply or remove badges from members. You can also set up automations. So a great one to set up if you go to admin and then let's type in automation. So this would be a way for you to add badges to people based on certain actions. So I'm going to call this founding member badge so that I remember the name of it and the trigger. There's all these wonderful triggers that you can set up. But I'm going to say join the network. So this means that anybody who joins the network will be applied this particular badge. And then I'm going to the action will be add a badge and then I'm going to select founding members as the badge. So it becomes so much more powerful once you add in automations as well. And then I'm going to go ahead and click Create. When you give a member a badge, they will receive a notification here that they received a new badge and they can click into it. And then you'll see that it appears on profiles here. If you want to click on the actual badge, you'll see that the founding member, you'll see a list of all of the people that have that founding member badge applied to them. So you can see that badges are a fun way to recognize and award your members. It.
