This content was created by Kyle Ford. This content was uploaded by Kyle Ford. This is a YouTube tutorial titled "Monthly Themes, Weekly Calendars & Daily Polls Made Easy" (published 2025-09-22) consisting of a single-speaker instructional talk (labeled SPEAKER A). The speaker explains a community-design framework for running a self-sustaining Mighty Network: plan monthly themes, a simple weekly calendar of 2–3 recurring activities, and daily polls/questions to drive engagement. The excerpt includes practical how‑tos (post the monthly theme on the 1st, examples from a hiking community, use co‑hosts for idea generation, enable the Infinite Question Engine, and schedule posts) and emphasizes minimizing content while maximizing member routines and notifications.

There are only a few small things you need to do to create a community that essentially runs itself. Those two things come together in what we call your community design plan. There are three aspects. Like I said, there's your monthly themes, your weekly calendar, and your daily polls and questions. Let's start with monthly themes. Here at Mighty, we recommend that you center each month around a specific topic or theme. Doing this creates a sense of novelty for your members. Your monthly theme can focus on the mindset that your members are in, for example, when they're just getting started and they need to reset their life. It can focus on milestones that they're working towards, little bits of results and transformation that will culminate in their best year ever. For example, hiking a certain mountain. And it can also focus on moments, parts of the year and seasonality that makes sense to focus your theme around. In this example, I'm focusing on moments specifically with the summer solstice in my hiking community. Doing a little bit of work ahead of time to plan out your monthly themes for the year is going to go a long way when it comes to you feeling prepared and building that community that runs itself. We recommend that on the 1st of every month you post your monthly theme in your community. In your main community feed, your monthly theme can include an explanation of why you chose that theme, a little bit about the topic itself, and then you get into your weekly calendar. Your weekly calendar are a series of events and activities that your members do together every single week at the same time in the same place or space. The reason your weekly calendar is so valuable is because it helps create a routine or a habit for your members around coming back to your mighty network at that time, on those days and each and every week, which will ensure that they come back to your Mighty network every day over and over. For your weekly calendar, feel free to keep it simple. It's better to have two to three strong weekly calendar activities or events than six or seven week ones. Also, six or seven everyday activities might get exhausting not only for you, for your met, but also for your members. And it's going to be hard for you to keep up with them and hard for your members to keep up with them as well. So for your weekly calendar, focus on two to three strong events or strong activities for your members to do together. For example, in my weekly calendar, every Wednesday at 8pm, we'll talk about our latest gear, obsessions and it'll be in a live stream every Saturday. Members are encouraged to go hiking in real life with a buddy who they can then invite to my Mighty Network and and then on Sunday, members are encouraged to come into the feed and share a photo and of course cheer for each other's photos, react and respond to that the final aspect of your community design plan are polls and questions. Polls and questions are ways to engage your members. It's actually the most powerful way to engage members in a Mighty network because the notification about those polls and questions encourage them to come back every single day. Now, how can you come up with these ideas for every aspect of your community design plan? Your monthly themes, your weekly calendars, and your polls and questions? You can ask the Mighty co host. Simply let co hosts know that you want to create monthly themes that align with seasonal trends, holidays and vibes for my situation because I'm focusing on moments of the year and then ask for those themes and co host will respond right away with some ideas. As soon as you ask the co host for ideas, it's going to generate ideas for your weekly calendar or for your polls and questions, whichever you're asking for now. In addition, for polls and questions in your Mighty network, you can turn on what we call the Infinite Question Engine, head over to the space where you've got your feed feature turned on, click on Settings, head over to Feedback, and then scroll down to turn on your Infinite Question engine. Your Infinite question generates infinite or unlimited questions that are focused on either your monthly theme or your big purpose. Whatever you put into this additional prompt, you can then go ahead and turn on these questions to auto post. So you can go completely hands free for these polls and questions, or you can go ahead and schedule them out by clicking on this three dot menu and clicking Schedule Post. Now those three aspects your monthly themes, your weekly calendar, and your daily polls and questions are all you need for the strategy to create a community that essentially runs itself. As you can see, you don't need a lot of content. You're focusing on people magic and bringing people to their best year ever and that's all you need.
