It features a single speaker delivering a personal monologue about vulnerability and leadership—using a candid disclosure of a past chlamydia diagnosis to reduce shame, model openness, and encourage others to speak up.
My philosophy has always been, I'll go first. I'll go first. I'll give you an example I talked about on social media that time I got chlamydia a couple of years ago. I talked about it because I know that there are people who carry guilt and shame around, perhaps their STD or some sort of, like, sexual encounter issue. I'll go first. I'll go first. And if that empowers you to use your voice or at least feel a little less guilt or shame or maybe reach out to someone to talk about it, that's magnetic. People are drawn to other people who empower them. I'm not sharing so people can know about my life. I'm sharing so that you can see that it's okay to use your voice like this. I think that's really magnetic.
