Are there lasting benefits of a real estate coach? Our space in terms of real estate coaching is crowded, to say the least. Everyone is becoming a coach. So the question is, you know, are they all created equal? I said they like we, you know, is real estate B school the same as every other coaching option out there? And what are you looking for in a real estate coach? So I want to dig into that today on this video. If you like these videos, give me the thumbs up. Make sure you subscribe to the channel and turn notifications on so you're the first to know about videos when they hit and make sure you stick around. I'm going to give you a report that outlines the six stages of business growth so that you can go from agent to owner in your real estate business and achieve time and money freedom. If you really want to build a sustainable real estate business, you have to be careful in terms of who you align yourself with respect to coaching. You know, many of the coaches out there, I have nothing bad to say about any coach I've ever had or any coach that's doing real estate coaching. Right. Most of those coaches are providing productivity coaching, which is a different form of coaching. It's different than business coaching. A productivity coach. You'll get on the phone once a week. Lars, how many calls did you make? How many appointments did you set? All right, do it again. Or, Lars, what's the fire blowing up for you today? Let's talk about it. Or, Lars, how come you're not hitting your numbers like it's productivity coaching? There's a purpose and a plan place for productivity coaching. It's just different than business coaching. And business coaching is more like, alright. Are you putting the system in place to generate enough leads so that you can scale your business from a revenue perspective? Do you have a sales process in place with your lead converting scripts and dialogues? Do you have a buyer consultation process, a listing consultation process? Now we've gone virtually, I can be on five listing appointments as once at once. Are you putting those systems in place? Different conversation, right? You still may have to lead generate on a daily basis. You're still going to track your numbers, you're going to do all of those things. We're just playing a different game in the space. So I have a few things that you should look for. And when people come into our world, typically they're looking for one of these three things. And this might help you in terms of making a decision in terms of, you know, the lasting benefits of coaching, but also what coaches might be right for you the first thing is that most people come in to a coaching environment to go further faster. And so if you can align yourself with someone that has done the thing you want to do, then your chances of getting there faster increase exponentially. A good example of this is our average client comes into our higher level program selling 50 to 75 homes. How can they go from 50 to 75 homes losing their mind to, you know, 300 homes working 30 hours a week? You can if you align yourself with somebody that's already done it. So I've done it. Most of our members are on that same journey in one sort of facet or another. And so if you want to go further faster, align yourself with not only a coach that's done it, but a coach that has coaches that has done it in their community and whole community is like minded in that regard. A lot of coaching companies out there, the coaches are taught that they can coach a thing that they haven't achieved themselves. And the analogy is that, you know, Michael Jordan's coach was never as good at basketball as Michael Jordan. So there you go. You don't need a business coach that sold 300 homes and worked 30 hours a week. If you want to do it, any coach will do because they'll just hold you to a standard to get there. I think it is complete bullcrap and I wouldn't trust it at all. That's the first thing is sort of going further faster. The second thing is that just to bridge the gap in your skills and knowledge, if your coach isn't teaching you new things and new skills to go from being a real estate agent to building systems and managing people, to maybe exiting production, to becoming the cfo, the chief financial officer in your business, to becoming an attractor of buyers and sellers versus paying Zillow. Like if you're not being trained and taught, the chances that you can achieve at a different level from where you're at right now, your chances go down considerably. So it's this aspect of training, right? You need to make sure that the person you're aligning yourself with. So I train once a week in our community where I'm going deep on a tool or a system that all of our members will have to install in their business to get the kind of success that they're looking to get to go further faster. That's number two. Number three is work on your business. And this is an easy thing to say if you've read the book E. Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber, he talks about working in the Business versus working on the business. Most real estate agents are just technicians in their business. They're working in the business, grinding out transactions all the time. Real estate B school, we take a very different approach. There are tools and systems that you must install in your business. Those time blocks in your weekly calendar are working on your business. Literally in your calendar, it's work on business. And most people, if I were to tell you to put, you know, three 60 minute time blocks in your calendar, work on business, you'd show up in that time block and you would say, what do I do? You know, so having a coach that has already built out the tools and systems that you need to implement and install and swipe and duplicate into your business, those systems need to already be built. I've had coaches before that have told me, okay, it's time to hire an administrator. Good luck. They kind of give you the virtual sort of tap on the shoulder or, you know, punch you on the, in the arm, right? Good luck. I hope it works out for you. It's definitely time. And you're like, wait, I've never done that before. You know, what ad do I run? What's the screening process look like? What do I look for in the resume? What interview questions do I answer? Do I ask, you know, what answers should I look for? Do I need core values? Like, what are we doing here? And so having those, you know, we call it our toolbox. All the ads are there, all of the interview process, even onboarding for administrators, onboarding for new agents, Everything you'll need to identify talent, make sure they're the right fit, onboard them into your, into your team, and then help them on an ongoing basis to be successful. So that's the third thing. Make sure the person you're aligning yourself with, they actually have the tools and systems for your next right move. This journey of building a business, no matter where you are in the process, this journey can be really, really hard. And if you're aligning yourself with somebody that hasn't done it before, they're, you know, they don't have the tools and systems that you need and they're not providing the training that you need to make the transition from just doing the technical work to leading and managing and holding people accountable. Accountable, and then providing vision and making that shift, maybe out of production, maybe to true business ownership. You know, I've worked one day a week in my real estate business since like 2013. And the only way I could do that is because I had this vision of the different stages of growth and you stuck around to the end. So go to realestate Business growth dot com. That's realestatebusinessgrowth dot com I will give you a step by step process through those six stages where 100,000 in gross commission, 500,000, what it looks like a million, a million 5, 2 million, 3 million plus. There is a set of skills and a set of questions that you need to ask yourself and systems you need to build out at every stage in that business growth journey. So make sure you head over to realestatebusinessgrowth.com if you like the video, please give me the thumbs up. It helps us with the Google juice and for others to find this video. Make sure you subscribe to the channel and turn notifications on so you're the first to know when a new video drops. I'll leave you with this thought. There's sort of two ways this thing is going to end. You know, you can have this focus on building a business and the pain of discipline. And I think I'm stealing this from Jim Rohn. This pain of discipline, right. And this, this building a three year vision, a one year plan and doing these things that we just mentioned in this video. Or you can have this pain of regret. The pain of regret ending up in a place where you didn't decide ahead of time that you were going there. Maybe you're selling homes, working evenings and weekends into your 50s and 60s. And even I know 75 year old agents that never decided to draw a line in the sand to make, to take more of a business approach and to employ a really seasoned and competent business coach. So if that's you and you want to know the journey, go to realestatebusinessgrowth. Com. We'll see you in the next video.
