Hey, guitar enthusiasts, Lauren Bateman here in this Play along guitar lesson, we're going to be playing All My Lovin by the Beatles. Let's get into the video.
Now these play alongs are not the actual lesson. If you need the lesson video, I'll put a link up there. You can click on that, open that in a new window and go watch that video. But what we're going to be doing here is you're going to play along with me. I'm going to play and sing the song this way. We'll play it beginning all the way through to the end. The first time through I usually keep it very simple. And then the second time through I spice it up a little bit more, maybe pick up the speed a little bit and make it a little more challenging. So in order to get started, we're going to need a capo here on the second fret. The chords we're going to be playing with are going to be an E minor, A7D chord, B minor. If you need the easy B minor, you can use the easy B minor, G, C and D. I think that's all the chords for this song. Quite a few chords, but we'll get through it. So for this first time through, all we're gonna do is four down strums per chord. Okay, four down strums per chord. And on the end of the verses there's a double D. We're gonna go. Just hold that second D. If you need the chord chart, go to my website, laurenbateman.com youm can pull that up on one side and keep the video up on the other side to play along and follow along with. So maybe this is the tempo. I'll do it at 1, 2, 3, 4. A little bit slower.
1, 2, 3.
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you.
Tomorrow I miss you remember I'll always.
Be true.
And while I'm away I'll.
Write home every day and I'll send.
All my loving Two you, three, four, one. I'll pretend that I'm kissing the lips.
I am missing and hope that my.
Dreams will come true.
And while I'm.
Away I'll ride home every day and I'll send all my loving to you.
Well, all my loving.
I will send to you.
All my loving.
Darling, I'll.
Be true.
Here comes the solo.
To.
D.
E minor A.
And D back into the verse.
Close your eyes and I'll kiss you.
Tomorrow I'll miss you Remember I'll always.
Be true.
And while I'm away I'll.
Ride home every day.
And send all.
My loving to you.
All my loving.
I will send to you.
All my.
Loving.
Darling I'll be true.
All my lovin oh my lovin'.
All my loving I will send to you.
And there you go. That is the first little playthrough. It's a very peppy song. So I mean if you thought that was fast, it's even faster than that. So that's what we're going to do on this second time through. Hey guys, hope you're enjoying this lesson so far. Make sure to subscribe to the channel if you haven't already. Turn your notifications on this way. YouTube will let you know when I release more play along lessons just like this. Alright, so the second time through I'm going to really pick up the pace. I'm going to be doing a syncopated rhythm. It's going to be down, down, up, up, down, up, down. And it's going to be more of a triplet feel. So it's going to be 1, 2a, a 4 and 1 2a a 4 and 1 2a a four. And.
So you hear it's going to be a little bit faster than the way we just played it. So we got one.
I want to close your eyes and.
I'll kiss you Tomorrow I miss you.
Remember I'll always be true.
Oh and while I'm away I'll ride home every.
Day and I'll send all my loving to you.
I'll pretend that I'm kissing.
The lips I am missing and hope.
That my dreams will come true.
And.
Then while I'm away I'll ride home.
Every day and I'll send all my.
Loving to you.
Well all my loving.
I will send to you.
My loving.
Darling I'll be true.
Well close your eyes and I'll kiss.
You Tomorrow I'll miss you and remember.
I'll always be true.
And then while.
I away I'll ride home every day and I'll send all my loving to you.
With all my loving I will.
Send to you.
All my loving Darling.
I'll be true.
All my loving.
All my loving.
All my loving.
And I.
Know I'm messing up that lyric on the end. I probably should have listened to this before I played it, but there you go. That is the fast version of the song.
