Hello, guitar enthusiasts. How are we doing today? Welcome, welcome. So nice to, to see everyone here. I see a lot of people over in the chat wanted to hop on because I usually try to hop on the week of, of Thanksgiving and Black Friday to give you some updates because obviously we have a lot going on this week. So thank you everyone for being here. Rob, they see you here. Matt. Tilt. Guilty. Thanks for coming up with that term. We love, we love that. So Tilt. Guilty. If you're someone that suffers from muted chord changes, chances are you could be tilting your guitar. All right? And by tilting your guitar, it's changing the angle at which your fingers are hitting the fretboard, which means you could be muting your chords just because you're playing your guitar at an angle. All right? It's like this. So instead of playing with the guitar straight up and down, you kind of play it like that. Okay. And the reason you do that is because you're trying to see the strings. So there's a good reason you're doing it. And I'm not trying to, to shame you. I know why you're doing it because you need to see the strings first. But eventually we want to get out of that happy, out of that habit. And then I saw happy. Thank you, George. And the trees. Happy Thanksgiving.
Will be celebrating later this week in the US I'll be heading up to Vermont for a few days, which is why I wanted to, to hop on early because I'm not sure if my Internet's going to be up there, if I'm going to be able to go live or not. I usually try to go live and just say hello, say Happy Thanksgiving, but some cool stuff going on. As you know, it is Black Friday week. So if you are on my mailing list, you're going to get some emails today about a special offer in the. How you get on the mailing list is you go grab the crash course. Okay. You can go to Lauren bateman.com forward/crash course. You can go sign up there and you'll get the, the special email offer. Or I, I think I did put a link, I tagged a link to the chat that has the Black Friday offer. Or, you know, if you're someone who's a little bit more late beginner, maybe you're more intermediate and you want to take, you know, blues guitar 101 or to do this, the expressive strumming course. Okay. Those are some big courses. That's why they're a little more expensive. So if you're looking to save 30%. You can go over the website and we have basically all the secondary courses are 30% off, I think through Black Friday. So basically this week. So if you want something, go grab it this week if you've been waiting. Because I know a lot of people like they wait, they wait until this week to, to buy something. So yes, we do have stuff going on. So feel free, pop over to laurenbatement.com forward/courses. All the course stuff is there. I also tag some links to the chat here for you to go and check that out. If you're looking to get into playing the guitar this year. I know there's a lot of free stuff here on YouTube. I get, people email me all the time like Lauren, but I get all the stuff for free on YouTube. Why should I pay you any money? Or I get all this free stuff from other guitar teachers on, on YouTube. And you know what, if, if that's where you're at and like that's all you can afford is to do the free stuff here on YouTube. Absolutely. I'm, I'm not offended by that at all. I hope that you find the free lessons and tutorials helpful. But if you're someone who's looking more for like a step by step blueprint instead of trying to figure out which video to click on next. If you want the videos in order and the PDFs and you want to interact with me in my private community, then go check out the Black Friday deal because it's the, it's pretty much the only time I think I do something special on that. So definitely go, go check that out. My course is definitely worth it if we purchase the secondary courses now while still going to a 7 level. How long do we have to complete those courses, Jim? As long as you need. That's the great thing. You know, I don't do subscriptions. I've had some people ask me like, can you do subscriptions? The reason I don't like subscriptions is because I feel like when you buy something you, you should own it, you know, so that, that's just my philosophy. I could make, I've been told, Lauren, you can make a lot more money if you, if you charge a subscription. And that's not the point. The point is I want you to buy a course. I want you to buy a program that works for you. I want you to own it and I want you to be able to go back to it when you need to on your own time. I know the subscription creates a little bit of, a little bit more of like intensity or a little bit more motivation to, like, keep working at it because you could lose access. But I don't think that's right. I think if you buy a course, if you buy a program, you should own it and you should be able to access it, you know, for as long as that program exists. And it'll be existing for quite some time. But people always ask just in case, if for whatever reason, you know, we did shut down all the classes and programs, I would offer it for download so that you could keep them. Okay. Because that's. That strongly is my philosophy as a business owner, is that if you buy something from me, you own it. Okay. And also if we make any updates, you own the updates as well. Greetings from Ireland. Hello, Stephen. I had a wonderful time in Ireland in September and October. I was there when the, the storm came through. Great. Loved, love the country. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful country. Absolutely. I've checked out a few guitar lessons and yours are by Father Best. Oh, thank you, Donald. I really appreciate that. I learned. Love the channel will be getting your course. Awesome. Getting my first guitar tomorrow because of your influence. That's awesome. I'm one of the older adults. That is fantastic. Yeah. And someone asked me earlier, I haven't been talking about it that much because it's a little on the DL, but now word is getting out. So someone asked about the guitar strap. So I have the Ninja Turtle green special edition one. We're only doing 100 of these guitar straps. So some of you know, some of you don't. It's actually on my tailor here. I'm going to take it off. You're going to see how easy. This thing.
Doesn'T come off super easy, but it comes off way easier than some of the guitar straps I have. So this is the Ninja Turtle green. Actually, you can see it pretty good in this. So this is. This is my guitar strap. Okay. So I have developed this little stamp on it with the Lauren. I don't know if you can see. It's got the Lauren Bateman logo stamped in. I told them they just needed to stamp it in a little bit more. But this is the final protocol. So this is. This is protocol sample four. This is the fourth sample. And this is it. It's. It's a really great guitar strap. It's. It's not a. I thought, you know, I bought a lot of guitar straps on Amazon and stuff just to see what people were spending. This is not a $30, it's not even a 50 guitar strap. This is a very High quality leather. You can see how soft it is. So it's super soft, super flexible right out of the box. Like I literally got this last week. I haven't used it that much and it's as soft. Soft as a baby's bottom. No, it's very soft and it has the felt backing because you know, if you did leather on both sides, the downside of having leather is that it just slides. So if you have a guitar like my tailor, my tailor is very like top heavy. So if I let go of the tailor, it slides and it actually one time slid and fell on my desk which was not fun because then I put a dent in my guitar which I was not happy about. But if you have felt on the bottom, it actually keeps the guitar strap in place and keeps it from sliding. Also super, super easy to adjust. Like very. Just super easy. Pull of a. Pull of a hat. I don't know. Just very simple to. To make adjustments to it. The goal of this was to. To make something that was comfor. You know, my older adults, I listened to your. Your issues and problems with guitar straps. I emailed and spoke with many of you. You want something that's comfortable that you can wear while you're practicing, that's not going to dig into your shoulder. The number one, when I gave this at my live event to some people to try, the number one thing I got was how comfortable it was. And that's. I wanted. I wanted something that was very comfortable and I wanted ends that were strong enough to hold the guitar but not so thick that you had to pry it off. Especially these tailors that if you have a guitar that has an input on the end like the tailor here, you can. There's not a lot of space to get a guitar strap. So for me, my really thick guitar straps, I. I hate putting a guitar strap on and off this guitar. But this one, you know, with this we measured and we made this perfect so that if you have a tailor just goes on like that. Look at that. I just put that on my thumb. Very. Look at that. Nice and easy. Just goes right on. So these guitar straps are on pre order. I opened it up to my community people and maybe what I'll do in the. It's only in the US right now. I'm so sorry for anyone who lives outside the U.S. it's only us right now. We'll see if we can get some shipping going outside the US But I might have to do that personally. But yeah. And then John says loving the seven level course really Helpful. Going to get the intermediate courses today. Awesome. Yes, definitely go get the intermed courses today. I'll make a post about the guitar strap. We do have a Shopify store right now that's taking pre orders. I'm actually going to be speaking to the manufacturer tomorrow about our first orders. I'm going to be ordering like 300 straps. We have them in green, only 100 in Ninja Turtle green. Once they're gone, they're gone. We're not doing Ninja Turtle green again, but, you know, I love my Ninja Turtles. And then we have a black strap, and then we have a brown strap, kind of like your, your. Your typical strap colors. So that's what else is going on. So we have guitar straps, we have Black Friday deals going on. Great opportunity for you guys to go grab some courses at great prices. And we have almost 600,000 subscribers, which is absolutely insane to me. I was just looking at my, at my. What was like my subscriber list the other day when I was coming on to schedule this live, and I said, oh my God, I'm like 2,000 subscribers away from. I don't know where I am today, but I think as of yesterday or wherever I. I scheduled this, it was only 2,000 away. So we'll probably break 600,000 before the end of the year. Maybe we'll have a, a 600,000 subscriber party here. Over on, on YouTube, someone says if we purchase. Oh, yeah, I already answered that one, Jim. Thank you. Yep. Okay, great. You'll be a 600k by Christmas. Yeah, I really will. So that. What a great Christmas present. 600k. So all you, you know, that have been supporting me over the years, I really appreciate it. Means. Means a lot to me to be here and be a YouTube creator, especially someone who doesn't have a degree in music and. Or a degree in education to, to be an educator on here and get some wonderful remarks like I've had in here about my course about the YouTube channel, about the lessons here. Thank you so much. I really appreciate the support. It does mean a lot because I don't get to do what I love to do without, without you guys. All right? If you guys weren't here and you weren't watching the videos, YouTube wouldn't show me love and it wouldn't show you my stuff. So I really appreciate you guys throughout the years, you know, following me. And if you're someone new to the channel and to the, the program, welcome. We always love having new people on here. You know, I just try and Keep it simple. I just try to break things down and you know, explain it in step by step, bite sized pieces. That's the goal. And my goal here is to make you feel good about your guitar playing journey. Okay. I know some of you have had teachers in the past that made you feel like crap or maybe didn't make you feel so good about the fact that you were learning guitar or maybe you had someone who made fun of you and you know, you, you felt stupid. And Portugal, Portugal's in the house. Hello, Portugal. I love Portugal. I went to Porto and Lisbon a couple years ago, I think a couple summers ago. Great country. Love it. Mediterranean weather is like my, my jam. I love it warm. I mean I don't know how cold it is outside, but today it's probably like 30. I don't know what is, what's, what's the weather outside today here up north in New England, it, oh, it's all, it's 41, so that's a warm day today. But no, I'm, I'm definitely a Mediterranean person and I love octopus. You guys have great octopus too. Let's see. B. Holmes says hi Lauren, I love your technique of lessons. Thank you for your time. New Hampshire acoustic guitar player. Oh, you're in New Hampshire too. Wonderful. Yep, I'm up here in New Hampshire. I'll be heading to Vermont later this week for Thanksgiving. For all of you that are in the US that celebrate, I hope you have a wonderful, happy, happy Thanksgiving. And yeah, I just wanted to pop on, say thank you, let you know we're coming up on 600,000 subscribers. Gave you an update on, on the guitar strap and I'll post something in the community section. I can do some post. So I'll post a picture of the guitar strap and where you can go if you want to put a pre order in because we're selling it at discount right now so. And there's more information. There's a video on the page as well if you're interested in grabbing one of those let me know because I am going to be putting orders tomorrow. And then again Black Friday is this week so we have a lot of cool stuff going on. Go on over to the website. Lauren bateman.com forward/courses. If you're not a beginner, grab some of the later courses if you haven't gotten into theory yet. I'm doing a music theory intensive right now. Actually had one just before I came live here, which is where I get online with students and we meet like this on Zoom In A format and we go a little more into detail on things. And we're doing music theory right now and a lot of the students are really enjoying it. It's kind of blowing their mind a bit, but it's enjoyable. So if you haven't gotten into the music theory yet, Music Theory 101 is a great introduction to theory. And theory is really just, why does music work the way it does? You know, why does the C and the G chord and the F chord go so well together? Why did G, E minor, C and D work so well? Other, you know, why. You know, why are songs always written in the same keys or the same chords? And so it's all that fun stuff. And. And it'll just help you understand a little bit of the why behind the music. Paul says hi. Larman struggling. Been learning for only a few months. Struggling with C chord changes. Any tips? Yeah, the C chord is a pain in the butt. Okay. Especially if you're trying to go from C to G. My recommendation is to do the. The finger push up exercise. Oh, I lost my guitar strap. The guitar strap's on the floor. But that's all right. This is the one that works on finger independence.
I teach this in the 7 level. I probably have a video on here on this too. But it's basically you take your fingers. All your fingers are on the G string. Okay. And I'm on frets. You know, you could do 7, 8, 9, 10. That's a little bit less of a stretch. And you take one finger up and down, second finger up and down. You do it like 20 times per finger. And you're going to notice the third finger is the slowest one. That's the finger. Especially if you're doing C to G. That's the finger. You can see it. That's the finger that kind of slows everyone down. So it's just, it's repetition. It really is. So when it's coming comes to speed, you just have to have muscle memory. You really do. Because if you're thinking about something, it slows you down. And if you're trying to force something, it slows you down. You need to be relaxed. Okay? Relaxation is when you get speed and you get relaxed. When you get experience. Okay. It's just like probably like driving a car. All right. I remember the first time I drove. Actually, first time I drove a car was probably like five or six. I drove my dad's truck. He did the gas and the pedal. But back in the day when you could get away with stuff like that. But I remember the first time I drove a car and it was really kind of awkward, or even worse was the first time I rode a motorcycle. I had no clue what I was doing, no clue. Trying to do it. Clutch. I'd never done a clutch before and it was really awkward. I kept stalling out. Very, very frustrating. And then eventually I got, you know, you get used to it and you get more comfortable in it. Now it's like, I can change gears, I can do the clutch, I can do, I can do all that stuff without thinking. And that's eventually what's going to happen with your C chord. But you have to get enough repetition so that you relax and it just becomes a little bit more automatic. Because if you're still thinking about it and you're still trying to force it, it's always going to slow you down just a little bit. Thinking always slows us down. So if you're thinking, that naturally is going to slow you down. But just some of you have heard my favorite quote. Bruce Lee. I'm not scared of the man who knows 10,000 kicks. I'm scared of the man who knows one kick but has done it 10,000 times. That's what you just have to do with that C chord change. You just have to do it over and over and over again until it becomes second nature. Yeah. So hopefully that helps. Nampa ID is Idaho. Idaho or is that Indiana? Sorry, I'm. My job. I'm horrible at geography. That is Sandra hall have seven level courses. Thank you for ownership of courses. You're welcome, Sandra. Absolutely. Yeah. If you buy a course, you should own it. They should. People who do subscriptions should not, you know. I know. Trust me. And I've had people have business coaches and stuff be like, you need to do a subscription. You'll make more money on a subscription. You need to do this. You'll make more money, you'll make more money. And sometimes it's not always about making more money, sometimes it's just about helping people. So for me, if you buy the course, you own it. And whether I make more money off of it or not doesn't matter to me. My goal is I just want you to help. I just want to help you learn to play guitar and have fun with it. So you buy the course, you own it. Mr. Hughes is also from Ireland. Yeah. Oh, thanks so much. You're so far the best guitar channel I've seen. Appreciate that. Thank you so much. New here. Friend told me about you. Amazing. And I want to learn guitar. But I'm getting annoyed fast. Wanted to throw it. Yeah. Don't worry. You're not alone. There's a lot of people who probably want to smash the guitar on the ground. Don't buy a nice guitar and smash it on the ground. Start. You know. How often do you play electric? Not as often. Not as often as the. I'm. I'm mainly on acoustic. I have a prs. Let me see if I can take. So Megan, my wife, is in the process of decorating everything, and she's trying to decorate all the rooms and like our little parlor room where I have my PRs. Oh, no. Did I get rid of the picture? Anywho, I have my PRS guitar, hollow body in a stand, and she basically just put a little Santa hat on it. I don't know why. Google. See, I feel like I'm. Everything is getting crazier on these phones and stuff. No, I think.
Anywho, it was the guitar with the Santa hat on it. So that's how we decorated the. The living room was the guitar with the Santa hat. So there you go. Let's see. I play my E chord with my third and fourth finger, and getting to D chord is tough. Any advice?
Oh, you play with third and fourth? Yeah. I mean, again, it's. It's again. Well, third and fourth. Yeah. So that's. That's normal. Okay. You can do that. Usually 2 and 3 would be better because then you're right here to slide into the D ch. I don't know if you can see that. See my first finger? I can just slide it between the frets. So here's E. Here's E. See how I can slide that? That would be my recommendation. Like, you could be doing this for a reason. I don't know. You know, I know some people have physical reasons for why they play chords certain ways. So if you're doing it this way, the best bet would just be to set. You know, I don't know how you're playing your D chord if you're using the other fingers. The best bet would be to set the first and second, second fingers and then end with the third. Even when I teach people for going from E to D, you can do it this way, but. Or E minor to D. You know, set the first two fingers and then get the third one in last. Eventually they'll land a little bit closer. And that will work out better. Hopefully. Hopefully. Hi. Alarm bar chords. Yuck. My fingers won't comply at all. Is there an easy bar chords using less fingers? There are kind of mini bar chords on the bottom side of the guitar. But that's mainly for major chords. So for example, if you were playing an F major bar chord, you would play, you know, this. But there's the mini F where you just bar the bottom two strings. So you had F, F sharp, G. The thing is, this sounds very twangy.
Versus a full bar chord which has a lot of body to it. So I do have my power and bar chord course is on sale and it's just my method for teaching people power chords and bar chords. Because there is a strength component to bar chords and there is a comfort component. You have to get comfortable with the shape. And even if you don't buy the course, I recommend learning power chords first because you'll start building up the strength and you'll start getting the comfort. But if you're interested, Power and bar chord mastery that is on sale on the website laurenbatement.com forward/courses. All right, that's on sale this month as part of the Black Friday. So definitely go check that one out too. But those are easier versions. They just don't sound as nice. That's. That's the downside. Thanks for all the song breakdowns you you post. You are so welcome. How do you know when to use the capo? Depends.
A lot of times people use capos for their voices. Like me, female, I'm trying to sing male songs. My voice is higher. So oftentimes I'll use a capo to make the song higher and better for my voice. In music theory, the course that I'm just teaching now with students, we're going over capos, like how to transpose songs. You can use capos to make songs easier to play. Oftentimes if you look a song up online, it will tell you if it uses a capo. And but sometimes I will add a capo to a song that doesn't have a capo to make it easy to play. For example, a song like Hotel California, I can eliminate the bar chords by using a capo, even though the original song doesn't. There's a little theory behind that, so you'd have to know. But if you're just going on like ultimate guitar or something, it will tell you when to use a capo. When you think your guitar strap would be available for purchase. Well, it is available for purchase now. It's on pre order. As soon as I place the order, it's going to be on post order. But maybe I'll continue it through this month because I Haven't really. With everything else that's been going on. I haven't promoted it that much. We've mostly promoted it to my, my community and my email list. So I will post something. There is a community section here on YouTube. I will go make a post with where you can order that. It is us only though, unfortunately. I'm very, very sorry. It's us only right now because of everything with, with, with tariffs and customs and everything else. I think it just gets very, very expensive. So can only do it in the US right now. But I will go put the landing page for that. Don't you worry. We'll get that out there. How do you learn metal music? The chords of metal so difficult for how they are taught in regular guitar courses. You know, the tricky part with metal is really the speed at which things are played, you know.
And I have. If you look up Cameron Bird. Cameron C A M E R O N Bird B I R D. He's actually a client of mine, but he specializes in teaching metal guitar, which I do not teach. But there are techniques and stuff with metal because I've played some stuff and a lot of it is just the technique and the timing, but a lot of it is speed. So that is, that is tricky too. So he's, he's probably the better person to. If you're interested in learning metal, go check out Cameron Bird. He. He's a great guy. He's over in Australia, but he's. He's a phenomenal, phenomenal player. I have skinny fat fingers. Please show me how to hold pick skinny fat. Same whether you have skinny fat or skinny. Skinny or fat fat. You're gonna hold it the same. There's a few different ways to hold the pick. Okay, there's this way which is kind of like one way. I teach in the seven level. Kind of like the curve, the point is down, thumb goes across. Curl the finger. Okay, that's one way. The other way is to hold it like this. The other way is to hold it like this. I taught myself how to play guitar, so if you watch a lot of my videos, I hold the pick like this. It's wrong, but I can still play the guitar. So. So find what's comfortable for you. But you'll see, I have a bad habit. I hold the pick like this. I took guitar lessons as an adult and they tried to get me to hold the pick correctly and I couldn't. Now when I play lead guitar, I definitely play it like this because of, because of the muting. But if you're not. Whoever asked that question? If you're not part of my crash course, go to laurenbatement.com forward/crash course. I have the lesson in there and how to hold the guitar, how to hold a guitar pick. And I go through that step by step with you with some close ups and stuff. So that might be a little bit better. Eddie, if you don't have that yet, go grab it.
I made a mistake. It's my second and third. Okay. Yeah. So if you're playing E with second and third. Awesome. Just slide right into that D. Makes it so much easier. Any recommendations for guitar books? Guitar books. I do like the first 50 series by Hal Leonard. That's a pretty good guitar series books like First 50 Songs to Strum, First 50 Songs to Finger Pick. First 50 Songs to Play on electric guitar.
Some of them, I. I don't know if they have too many absolute beginner songs, but they do have a large selection of songs. A lot of them, particularly the strumming one are a little bit more late beginner to intermediate. But that's, that's a great series. I know because they have strumming patterns in there. They have the tab, they have the chords. So that's a really good one. Go check those out. There's a bunch of them. Thank you very much for all your lessons. I'm learning finger picking Landslide. Awesome. That's amazing. That's good. I'm glad that you're enjoying. That's a fun one to play. When I learned how to play Landslide, I felt really cool as a guitar player. How do you learn new licks when practicing pentatonic skill? I keep playing the same licks. I've made it myself, so I'm not actually improving. Yeah, so what you can do is you can go learn some other people's songs that have different licks and incorporate them. I don't have any licks courses, but I know there's some guitar teachers that have like bio library licks. You know, you just go look up some more licks and incorporate them into your playing. Or learn some different guitar solos. A great guitar. So if you haven't learned it, it Stairway to Heaven. Great guitar solo with some really cool stuff. What's another one? Sweet Home Alabama is another great one. Anything by the Eagles, you know, go learn some cool guitar slows. And if you're looking for stuff that that's simple but still good. The beat. The Beatles have very, very cool pentatonics. Like for example, the solo for Let It Be is all a Minor pentatonic, I believe. Yeah, a minor pentatonic. And it's very, very simple. But there's some cool stuff in there that you could probably steal or borrow and use in your playing whenever. You know, even when people are like, oh, Lauren, I'm playing the same strumming pattern over and over again. What do I do? One, you can go pick up my expressive rhythm and strumming course, which gets you out of the habit of playing the same strumming pattern over and over again. Or the other option is just start learning songs that use different strumming patterns. All right. Learn songs that actually push your strumming to the next level. You got to get out of the comfort zone. Yes. If you're using the same thing over and over again, learn some solos. Get out of the comfort zone. I learned one. This was back in Covid. There's a Carpenter song Goodbye.
I can't remember the name of the song for. Yeah, it was their first song. They got in a lot of trouble with, like, their fans because they put electric guitar goodbye to love. Is that the song? Anyway, it's Christmas song. It has a really, really cool electric guitar solo. And it wasn't really, you know, the Carpenters didn't really do electric guitar, so it's kind of like out in left field for them. But it's a really, really great guitar solo. I learned it had some really cool licks, and it was really fun to play. Yeah. I will be taking your course. Awesome, Eddie. Appreciate it. Big thank you, Lauren, for all your simplified guitar tutorials. For over two years, I've been following your content. Awesome. You're the reason I can at least drum Happy Birthday to my daughter and son. That's awesome. And see, that's what it's all about right there. Just what Elvis said. I'm able to play Happy Birthday for, you know, someone in the family or my spouse or whatever. I get those emails all the time. So it's. It's not about just learning the guitar. It's about building and sharing memories with others. And if you're able to do that, that's awesome. Eva's Christmas song recommendations, please. Yeah, Paul, I get a few. I do have a Christmas. Christmas classics course, which is all, like, very beginner guitar tab, all melody, which is really great. But I do have a couple lessons here on YouTube that are beginner, so I have a melody version of Jingle Bells, which is. Which is very beginner. I think I have Joy to the World as well in tab. If you search Lauren Bateman Christmas. There'll be some Christmas songs that will come up and usually the easy ones have easy on the thumbnail. So that's a hint. But I know I have a Jingle Bells one that's just strumming in chords. But I also have a Stringle Bells one that's just melody, so that might be helpful too.

I think we're only doing a hundred of these. Once they're gone, they're gone. So that's it. Lauren, what's going to look at guitars tomorrow? Can you advise buying a smart guitar or not? Like to use headphones so I can practice without bothering anyone. Well, I don't know about a smart guitar.
I didn't even know they made those. But I'm sure there's, there's little plugins you can probably get. There's probably apps that you can plug into the input. The other options just get a very small practice amp that has a headphone jack. You know Fender makes pretty decent practice amps. You don't have to get anything super, super expensive. That would be my recommendation. Just go for a Fender practice amp. The, the amps I use, the fins for the acoustic are a little bit more expensive so I wouldn't, I wouldn't go there quite yet. Definitely more of a performance amp. But a good practice amp will, will get you, get you get you pretty far. I have that same guitar for vets. Your great program. Absolutely. You're welcome. Happy Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll see you again soon. But I'll be up in Vermont. If I don't have the reception I won't go live. But you do online courses. I do Gordon, absolutely. Where to buy your merch. I know we don't have this stuff for sale anymore. We're working. Maybe once we get guitar strap up and running again, we'll get the T shirts and the sweatshirts going again. But. But yeah, you can do that or use guitar is a good idea to save money. They can be, but there are problems with used guitars, particularly on the frets. You have to make sure they're not worn out. I don't recommend buying a used guitar unless you know what you're looking for. Because I've seen a lot of used guitars, particularly guitar center and the frets are completely like pitted out and then you have to refret the guitar and it's not worth it. So yeah, I. If you can get new, do it. But if that's all you got in your budget, just make sure the frets don't look like they have dents in them and you know, we're pretty good. All right, I do have to run. Love you all. Thank you so much for being here. Go to laurenbatement.com forward/courses to get some discounts on courses or click the link in the description below.
