A short YouTube guitar lesson by Lauren Bateman demonstrating how to play “Amazing Grace” using only three chords (A, D, E) with a fingerpicking pattern that sequences individual string numbers. The clip includes a live demonstration of the picking pattern and a sing-through accompanied by a second speaker.
Hey, guitar enthusiasts. I'm gonna show you a song, Amazing Grace, that only uses three chords, A, D and E. And we're gonna play this in a very special way. We're gonna pick individual notes. So we're gonna be going from the lowest note of the chord, which would be five, three, two, one, two, three. Then four, three, two, one, 2, 3. And then on our E chord, six, three, two, one, Two, three. So it's gonna sound like this. Amazing.
Grace how.
Sweet.
The sound.
Saves.
A wretch.
Like me.
I once was.
Lost but.
Now I'm.
Found Was blind but now I see.
