Being an online guitar teacher is so rewarding. But in the beginning, I obviously didn't make a lot of money doing this. And what kept me motivated and inspired was hearing from my students, the people that were learning from me online and getting the emails about how I had changed their lives, how I had helped them move out of deep depressions, things that I never even considered when I started teaching music. So focus on the impact you're going to have on your students. The money will come later.
