YouTube video by Lauren Bateman (uploaded Jan 12, 2024) where she explains she is focusing her guitar content on her YouTube channel and has launched a second channel, Full Time Tubers, dedicated to the business side of leveraging YouTube for educators and creators. She also created a YouTube course (recently updated to include Shorts) sharing her strategies for selling courses and growing on the platform.
So right now I'm heavily focused on YouTube and that's where all my guitar stuff is. Most of my guitar stuff is on my YouTube channel. I don't really talk about business on the guitar channel. That's why I went and created an entirely new channel. It's called Full Time Tubers which is focused more on the business aspects of leveraging YouTube especially if you're an educator, a content creator like me who sells courses because I firmly believe the best way to make money online is to have your your own course that you can sell to people. So of course what did I do? I went and created a YouTube course just kind of giving people my ins and outs of what I found successful over the years and kind of the tried and true practices. What's changed? I recently added something about shorts because shorts didn't exist when I first recorded this course and you have to stay up to date because people want the freshest information.
