Hey, everyone. Welcome back. My name is Lauren and I'm here in my Play along series of my channel, in my website, where you actually get to play along two songs with me from beginning to end. Now, I find this is very important for guitar students because a lot of times you learn parts to songs, but you never learn how to play a song from beginning to end. So that's what we want to do. Now this song. Sometimes when I play songs, I don't do all the solo parts and everything and I'm not going to play the solos, but we are going to do the chord progressions throughout the through the solos. And we're just going to be doing all down strums here for this strumming pattern. And the first time through, I'm going to play it a little bit slower. Second time through, I'm going to play it a little bit faster. So if you don't have the chord chart, go to my website, laurenbateman.com you can download the chord chart for this song and then come back here, print it out and you can play along with me. So let's take a look. We're going to start at the intro with the A chord. If you can't do in the chorus, there's kind of like a switch where it's 1, 2, D A. You don't want to do that switch. We can just stay on the A. And I think the first time through, I'll do it that way. I won't do that change. I'll just stay on a chord. But second time through, which is usually when I play a little bit more up to speed and up to skill level, shall we say? I will probably throw that back in for you guys so that you can hear it. But let's take it from the intro. So we got 1, 2, 3, 4.
Here comes the verse.

So we're going to throw that in to this next section. So I should say this is not an actual. I used to say this at the beginning of the video and I forgot. This is not an actual lesson about how to play the song. This is where you play along with me to the song that you've hopefully already learned. So I'll also have the link below here to the video lesson. So if you haven't learned the song, you can go watch that tutorial and learn it. So this song is Pepi. We're going to pick up the speed. You can just stick with all downs if you want to. That's what I'm gonna stick with. And we're gonna take it from the intro through the verse, the chorus, all these little solo parts, but we're gonna really pick up the speed of this song because it is a fast song. Alright, so we got 1, 2, 1, 2, 3, intro.

And there you have it. Told you it was a very peppy song. The cool thing about this song is it's really only two chords. I mean, there's A and there's A7, but if you'd never played the A7, it would just be A and D the entire song. Which is great two chord song, technically three because we're using the A7, but there you go. That is Get Back by the Beatles. If you enjoyed this play along. Go to laurenbatement.com donate.
