Just because you have a degree doesn't necessarily make you a good teacher. Being able to play an instrument and being able to teach an instrument are two very different skill sets. And I think it's important, you know, if you want to be a good teacher, that you always have to keep in mind what the student wants as opposed to, like, what your goals are. And I think for a lot of guitar teachers, that's frustrating because they don't like teaching the kid or the adult the same simple things over. They want to do, like, these really awesome advanced things. And I really love the simple things. You know, I could do the same thing over and over again.
