A short YouTube guitar lesson by Lauren Bateman demonstrating how to play the verse of "Have You Ever Seen The Rain." The clip explains the required chords (C and G), gives a repeated strumming pattern (down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up), and walks through singing/play-through of the verse lyrics.
Hey, everyone, I'm going to show you the verse section of have you ever seen the rain? It only requires two chords. Super fun song. We're going to need a C chord, and we're going to need a G chord. All right, now, the strumming pattern for this is kind of like a round. So it's down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up. So it's down.
Up, up, down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up, up, down, up.
So you kind of stay on the up, down, up. Once you do that first down. Okay, so it's down.
Up, down, up.
Someone told me long.
Ago.
There's a calm storm and I know.
And it's been coming for some time?
When it's open storm they say it'll rain another day?
And I know.
