A short YouTube video by Lauren Bateman explaining how she finds clients for her online music lessons. She states the two biggest sources are YouTube and her website, emphasizes relying on organic search content and search engine optimization, and recommends using both YouTube and a website when teaching online.
The two biggest sources of where I find clients for my online music lessons is YouTube and my website. I rely heavily on organic search content. That's why I put so much time and effort into my YouTube channel, connecting with my audience, making sure I'm putting out content that they want and things that help them solve their problems. But I'm also putting that content over on my website. So not only am I taking advantage of YouTube search engine optimization, I'm also taking advantage of Google's organic search and search engine optimization. So I highly recommend, if you're trying to teach online, that you definitely work on the YouTube platform, but don't ignore your website.
