How to Add a Watermark to Your Videos on Youtube

Lauren Bateman shows how to add a subscribe watermark to your YouTube videos. Go to Customize channel in YouTube Studio, upload a subscribe image to the Branding section, pick when it shows (she recommends the entire video), and publish. A follow-up covers making end cards in Canva.

Hey, YouTubers, in this video, I'm going to show you real quick how to.
Add the watermark down here for your subscribers so that you can increase subscribership on your YouTube channel.
So a lot of times when you watch a video, people have this little red subscribe box that pops up in the corner. So how do we go about getting that? So this is another feature we're going to find under customize channel. All right, so you're going to go to your channel.
Okay.
Get to your channel page. Or if you're in YouTube Studio, you can use it from the customization setting on the left side. But from here, we're on your channel and we're going to click Customize channel. And then what we're going to do is we're going to click this branding link again. And when you scroll down to the bottom, there's going to be a video watermark. So you can see here, I don't have one uploaded now.
You could use a logo if you wanted to. I started with a logo on one of my channels, but I like having the subscribe button because it's taking telling people, hey, I want you to subscribe to my channel. If you guys have not subscribed to my channel yet, make sure you go and do that.
So the easiest way to go about adding this is to simply go to. You can do this in Canva, but I would just go to google.com and I would type in YouTube Red Subscribe Square. Then come up to images and look at this. You get a bunch of YouTube subscribe things to choose from. This one looks kind of cool here. I'm just going to pull this one up. I'm going to right click and I'm going to save the image.
Okay.
Once I've downloaded that, I'm going to come back to customize channel. I'm going to click on upload and in my downloads you'll see that red subscribe square. So I'm going to click on that. You can adjust it, reframe it, resize it, but I think it's sized pretty perfectly here. So we're going to click on done. And then you have three options. You can see now I have the red subscribe square here and you can choose to show this at the end of video. The star, a custom start time or the entire video. I always choose entire video because I.
Want to show it through the entire length of the video. If you show it at the end, chances are a lot of people aren't going to see that square. So I let the watermark run through the entirety of my channel to increase the chances that maybe someone's going to click on that once they hear a valuable piece of information and will subscribe to the channel.
So once you do that, make sure to go up to the blue square, click, pop, publish.
And once you do that, you'll have a nice subscribe watermark that will view through the rest of your video. So what we're going to talk about next is we're going to talk about how to make an end card in the free software Canva.
So if you're interested in watching that.
