How to Upload a New YouTube Profile Picture on PC

Hey youtubers, welcome back. Lauren Bateman. Here, in this video I'm going to show you how to upload or change your YouTube profile picture.

Alright, so here I am on the main channel page of the test I made. So if you watched my earlier video, you saw that I uploaded a profile picture when I made my original channel. But if you ever want to change your profile picture, you're probably going to want to update it at some point. Oh, all you have to do is go to your channel. Okay, so if you come in and you're in YouTube Studio, all you have to do is click up here on your profile picture and go to your channel. It'll take you to this page and what you're going to do is you're going to click on the profile. You see how this little camera pops up? Click on that and then you're going to be taken to channel customization and it'll take you right to the branding section and then all you have to do is click this change. Okay, go, go to the pictures on your computer or laptop, whatever. I'm just going to typ type in avatar here because I have some already pre made and you can pick a different photo. All of these have been clipped to a square, but you can adjust these to whatever you want. You can move it around. So I'm just going to center this. Whoops. Here. That looks good enough. Let's do that. And we're going to click done. And once you do that, you have to remember to click publish up here or the changes are not going to go through. And voila. Once you publish, you can see that the profile has been updated. So if we click over to your channel now, you will see the updated profile picture and the updated profile in your Google account. What we're going to do next is I'm going to show you how to upload and create your channel art using a free piece of software that I use to do all of my graphics on my YouTube channel.
