Short YouTube segment (speaker: Lauren Bateman) discussing integrating payment processors—specifically PayPal and Stripe—with online platforms. The speaker recommends supporting both processors for broader international reach, noting Stripe works well in the US, Canada, and many English-speaking countries while PayPal is commonly used by UK customers.
A lot of processors integrate with PayPal or Stripe. I haven't had a lot of issues in terms of people getting their credit cards stolen, but for example, Kajabi, you can integrate with Stripe and PayPal. If you're going to be working internationally, you might want to consider PayPal, because I don't think Stripe is taken in all over the world. Works great for us and Canada and a lot of the English speaking countries. But I know a lot of my students in the UK do tend to pay through PayPal, so finding a system that integrates PayPal and Stripe would be ideal.
