Invest in good lighting if you're serious about video content creation.

If you have a budget for gear, absolutely. Get some lighting. Lighting is super important. Again, going back to that first video of mine that went viral. It was the crappiest piece of video. It's the video you don't want to go viral. That goes viral because I look at it now and it's like nails on a chalkboard. But I remember someone said if you look back two or three years and you're not embarrassed by the first work you do, then you waited too long to start. So it depends on your budget. But phones today are much better than they were when I started six years ago. So just using your phone is great. But if you have money to invest in some equipment, getting a nice lapel mic just to boost your audio a little bit will help a lot. And getting some lighting, do not underestimate good lighting. That's something I did in the beginning. Just some lighting, your phone and a lapel mic and a tripod. That's really all you need to get started and produce some really high quality content.
