I'm going to tell you about the most important content that you should be making when you're just getting started on YouTube. I get asked all the time, Lauren, what should I put on my YouTube channel? What kind of content should I be uploading? And when you're just getting started, the biggest thing you want to focus on is helping others. So the best thing you can do as a YouTuber when you're just getting started is take your topic, take your niche that you're working on. I'm a guitar teacher. All right, and ask yourself, what are the top problems that my audience is having? All right, so I'm a guitar teacher, and the top problems that my students have is they can't change chords quick enough. They don't know what's the best guitar to buy. They don't know if they're too old to learn how to play an instrument. These are common questions that I would get asked in my lessons all the time. So As a new YouTuber, my biggest thing for you is to focus on making videos that help your audience be successful, have a win at something. All right? And these don't have to be long videos. Remember in the beginning, when people don't know you and they don't know your brand, chances are they're not going to stick around for a really long video. But as you build a relationship with your viewers and your subscribers, they will start to stick around for 15 minute or 20 minute videos. So I would focus on creating a list of the top 10 questions that your clients ask you and creating videos in a playlist and in a series and just shooting off the answers to those questions. That's what I'm doing right here. This is one of those videos. Lauren, what kind of content should I get started with on YouTube? It's a common question that a lot of YouTubers and a lot of content creators ask. Where do I even start? Because it can be overwhelming in the beginning on your YouTube journey. So my biggest advice for you is to focus in on something because these videos, these first videos you do, are going to help you build your confidence. It's going to be really weird talking to a camera. I'm used to talking to a camera now, but my first videos, I was really awkward. I said a lot and, you know, I made a lot of mistakes and I said the wrong words all the time. And don't worry about that. Use these first 10 Q&A videos to get comfortable on camera. And. And remember, you're focusing on the audience, not yourself. Focus on helping your audience reach their goals and achieve their goals, and then they will continue to come back and keep watching your content over and over and over again. If you're really serious about committing and going all in on YouTube, then I would highly recommend that you grab my 30 day YouTube jumpstart course where I show you the ins and outs of YouTube. Especially if you're someone that's just getting started. Because someone who's just getting started on their journey is going to focus on different things than someone like me with my guitar channel. I have over 200,000 subscribers. I'm going to focus on a different strategy than when I just got started. So if you really want to know the things that you need to focus on on YouTube to be successful, scroll down to the description below and click on the link to check out my 30 day jumpstart program.
