This is a YouTube video titled "Knockin’On Heaven’s Door #shorts" created in July 2025 featuring Lauren Bateman teaching how to play Bob Dylan's song "Knocking on Heaven's Door" on guitar. The content is a solo instructional tutorial focusing on chords and strumming patterns for beginners.
Today I'm going to be teaching you. Knocking on Heaven's Door by Bob Dylan uses four simple chords. Great song for beginners. A G chord, a D chord, an A minor chord and a C chord. Alright. And it also has a very, very simple chord progression that's easy to remember and easy to sing along with. So, strumming pattern. We're going to be doing four down strums, followed by an up. So it's going to be 1, 2, 3, 4, 4. And 1, 2, 3, 4. And down, down, down, down, up. Mama, take this badge off me? Cause I can't use it anymore? It's getting dark, too dark to see? Feels like I'm knocking on heaven'. Knock, knock, knocking on heaven.
