Lauren Bateman (speaker) explains that although many know her as "the guitar teacher," her career spans real estate, brick-and-mortar businesses, and online music businesses. She states her first success was in real estate, she ran a brick-and-mortar music business for 12 years with multiple locations and over 20 employees, and has made multiple millions from teaching music and other ventures.
A lot of people know me as the guitar teacher was like, oh, you're the guitar teacher? I'm so much more than just the guitar teacher. I have millions of dollars in real estate. I have this whole music business. I've made multiple millions of dollars off of teaching music to people over the years. I'm so much more than just the guitar teacher that strums and people will talk to me and they're like, I didn't know you owned real estate, women. I didn't even know you had a brick and mortar business. I'm like, yeah, I had a brick and mortar business for the last 12 years. I've had multiple locations. I have over 20 employees that we're managing, and they're like, wait a. So you don't just teach guitar on YouTube? No, no, I do so much more than that. And I think it's important for people to understand that. My first success wasn't YouTube. It started in real estate, and then it went on to a brick and mortar business, and now I'm doing online business. I'm doing the social media thing, and I come from many different avenues of business, and I'm just much more than the guitar teacher who strums.
