So I started lessons here a few months ago. And what I really like about the lessons is I've always wanted to play, but I think having lessons helps motivate me to play.
It allows me to have someone else sort of cheering me along in the process, someone to bounce ideas off with, to just kind of groove with. And it just makes it more fun than me sitting by myself trying to figure something out. So. So it's definitely a good investment, something that I enjoy doing, something I look forward to each week, especially after a work day. It's a really good release. What I really appreciate about lessons with Mike is he helps me get to a point where it is that release. And I'm feeling confident in myself, and I know I can come in here and just sort of get all of that out. And I leave just feeling. I don't know, I definitely feel really good after. And it's. That's something that's exactly what I wanted out of drumming that I wasn't able to figure out on my own. So that is a huge thing for me to take away and to motivate me to keep doing it, because I know that it feels good. I try and bring into the lesson what I want. And that's what I like about working with Mike is it's a collaborative thing. So it's not like, you know, anyone can come in with their. He can come in with his agenda or I can come in with my agenda, but. But I really think it is about working together, and I think that's how you're gonna get the most out of a lesson. So, you know, I think a lot of times it's what you make out of it. And honestly, if I need to practice a little bit more too, then the lessons would be even better. But, no, it's what you put into it. And, you know, it's nice having an instructor that you feel comfortable talking to and just, you know, being awkward and learning and all of that with. So it's definitely a good vibe. It is an investment, you know, and people you're gonna have investment your life, you know, this is something I've wanted for a long time, and it was just a matter of being like, okay, is it worth it? And for me, I definitely have found that it was. It was worth a shot. And then I found that it is definitely worth it for me. You know, I'm glad I tried it out and found that it's something I do want to keep investing in and progressing in. You know, I always would have wondered if I didn't so it was just at a point, you know, eventually you kind of got to bite the bullet and just do it, so.
