A student at LB Music School in Medford describes a year of voice lessons with instructor Nicole. They gained range, confidence, and lost their nervousness about singing in front of others.

I've taken voice lessons for almost a year now and I decided to start taking voice lessons because A my mom wanted me to and B, I always liked to sing but I was never good at it so I always wanted to improve. Before taking lessons, there wasn't a lot I could do with my voice so now I enjoy being able to sing higher and actually sing well so that other people like to listen to me. My instruction Nicole, she's amazing. I love coming to class every week and it's because of her. I really learn a lot from her and she really encourages me to keep going. The first few lessons I came in I was so shy and I didn't even know what to say. I was so nervous and she really opened up to me. So taking voice lessons is totally worth it and I would recommend it to anybody, even just for other instruments. It's a really good opportunity and it's a cool experience.
