A short YouTube guitar tutorial (creator: Lauren Bateman) that teaches how to play the chorus of "Mr. Jones" (Counting Crows). The instructor lists required chords (C, F, G), gives a strumming pattern (down, down, up, up, down, up), and then demonstrates/sings lines from the chorus while playing.
C, F, G.
Down, down, up, up, down, up.
Today I'm going to show you how to play the chorus section of Mr. Jones by the Counting Crows. We need a C chord, we need an F chord, and we need a G chord. And our strumming pattern is going to be down, down, up, up, down, up. Down, down, up, up, down, up. Ready? Here we go. One, two, here we go.
Just a chance that we tell each other fairy tales and we stare at the beautiful winner. She's looking at you oh, no.
You smiling in the bright light.
Come.
When everybody love.
You can never be lonely.
