Lauren Bateman uses D'Addario Phosphor Bronze 11s on acoustic guitars and D'Addario Hybrid Strings on electric. The hybrids mix 9-gauge on lower strings with 10-gauge on top strings for a specific feel.

What gauge strings do you prefer on the acoustic? Okay. Or my electric. Yeah, great question. My preference on strings for acoustics, I prefer 11s. I think it's a good balance. Mediums are too heavy for me. Even light. These are light. I think these are light. They're 11's or these are custom lights. Sorry. Very sorry. Custom lights. So they're even thinner than light strings. Medium. While you get a much better sound from medium, it's just too much for me. I prefer to use what's called phosphor bronze strings. 8020. Bronze is just a little bit too bright for me. I do prefer D' Addario Phosphor Bronze 11s. And then on my electric guitars, I use D' Addario Hybrid Strings. It's a yellow package and I wish I have the strings here, but I don't. It's a yellow package. It has a mixture of strings. So I have light strings. I have what. What are called nines on the bottom, three strings and tens on the top.
