Lauren Bateman describes rapid growth of her online business and operational changes: she has delegated management of their music school to her wife because the online business is more profitable, outsourced content and editing tasks, and is preparing to pivot into business coaching while keeping the established online systems running.
Now the online business is going. It's taking off. I brought my wife in to help me with managing the music school because I don't make as much money on the music school as a make online. So my time is much more valuable spent on that online business. And now I'm realizing, you know, people are coming to me wanting my skill set as a business owner. So I'm trying to pivot yet again. I don't want to give up on the online business because we have now systems and processes in place. I'm not editing my videos. I'm not even building a lot of the content on my website anymore. I have other people doing that for me. I'm outsourcing the stuff that does not require me so that I can have extra time to pivot into this new position that I'm trying to do, which is the business coaching.
