In this concise guitar tutorial, the instructor walks viewers through the chorus of "If I Die Young" (by The Band Perry). He specifies placing a capo on the 2nd fret, outlines the chord progression (G, D, A, Bm), and details a specific strumming pattern broken down into downstrokes and upstrokes with an added bass‑note emphasis. The lesson includes a brief demonstration of the pattern while singing the opening lyric, providing learners with a clear, playable framework for the song’s chorus.

Hey, guitar enthusiasts. Today we're going to be doing very quickly the chorus of if I Die Young by Bam Perry. We are going to have a capo on the second fret of the guitar. Our chords are going to be a G chord, a D chord, an A chord, and a B minor chord. Already starting to sound like the song. So the strumming pattern we're going to use is going to be 1 and 2 and a 3 and 4 and a down, down, down, down, up, down, down, down, down, up. Now, what I like to do is I downs as a bass note, so it'll sound like this. Down, down, down, down, up. Bass, bass. Down, down. Okay, so let's give it a try. Ready? Send me away with the words of a love.
