This is a YouTube video titled "Practice Slow #shorts" created on June 21, 2023, featuring Lauren Bateman giving advice on guitar practice techniques, emphasizing the importance of practicing slowly to improve timing and musicality.
When practicing guitar, it's better sometimes to go slow than fast. So many students want to move too fast on the guitar that they start making mistakes. And when you make mistakes, you put that into your practice. Your brain doesn't know if you're playing something right or if you're playing something wrong. So oftentimes, if you want to work on better timing and sounding better on the guitar, it's better to slow things down a little bit and work on smoothing out your timing. It'll sound much better and much more musical.
