Lauren Bateman says post one long-form video weekly if you can, but consistency matters more than frequency. Promising three videos a week then disappearing will hurt you more than posting every other week and actually showing up.

The frequency you post on YouTube should be something you can commit to. Now I tell my clients your best bet is to post one piece of long form content, not talking short form. One piece of long form content every week. If you can get into that consistency that is amazing and that will help your channel grow faster. Now if you're someone who's very busy like I was when I started my YouTube channel, okay I wasn't doing YouTube for full time. I posted as frequently as I could. Now sometimes that was once every other week, sometimes I got in every week but sometimes it was every three weeks. So I posted content as frequently as I could to be consistent. You don't want to go posting two or three videos a week if you're not going to be able to keep up with that frequency. Find something that works with your schedule. You can always increase it as you gain more traction, get more time and make YouTube your full time income.
