Why do I like guitar better than piano? I started on piano when I was a kid, and I didn't understand how it worked. It was horrible. And, you know, my parents forced me, my mom forced me to practice and play the piano for, like, two or three years. I absolutely hated it. I didn't know how it worked because I'm a very creative person. And what I really wanted to do is I wanted to write my own songs. So when I picked up a guitar and, you know, I started learning the way I learned on piano, learning how to sight read music. But then I learned some chords, and I was like, wait a minute. If you just put three or four chords together, you have a song. And that opened up an entire world for me. I started writing my own music, and that's what really made me fall in love with the guitar.
