Lauren Bateman explains her policy on free access to her music course: she directs people to a free crash course (and YouTube content) as the effective free trial, encourages trying that to learn to play songs in nine to ten days, and notes she occasionally grants full free access case-by-case (e.g., to people on disability with limited income).

I have lots of people who say, can I get a free trial of your course? And I say, absolutely. Go take the free crash course. That's the free trial right there. If I can get you to play songs in nine to 10 days, you can go take my free trial. And if you like that, then come back on over here and buy the course. I'm not going to give you a free trial to this course. You can access free here or you can access free over on YouTube. I got tons of stuff on YouTube for free. So don't feel like you have to help everyone. We can't literally help everyone. Every once in a while, do I make an exception? Do I have someone who writes to me and they're like, I'm on disability. Disability, and I have a limited income. And sometimes I'll be like, you know what? I'm in a good mood today. I'm gonna give you the course for free. Congratulations. Thanks for writing in. So sometimes I do that for people.
