A short YouTube guitar lesson/transcript by Lauren Bateman teaching how to play ‘Wagon Wheel’ (Darius Rucker version). The chunk lists the four chords used for the chorus (G, E minor, C, D), spells a repeating strumming pattern, and includes sung chorus lines as demonstration.
Have a super fun song here. Originally written by Bob Dylan. Wagon Wheel. We're doing the Darius Rucker version, which requires four chords. To play this chorus section, we need a G chord, we need an E minor chord, we need a C chord, and we need a D chord. Now, the strumming pattern we're going to use for this is a Down, down, up, up, down, up, down, down, up, up, down, up, down, down, up, up, down, up, down, down?
And let's go.
Rock me.
Mama, like a wagon wheel? Rock me, mama, any way? Feel me.
Mama? Rock me.
Rock me, mama? Like a hill.
And a rain?
Rock me.
Mama, Like.
A southbound train?
In.
My.
