A short motivational YouTube #shorts by Lauren Bateman advising new guitar players to stop comparing themselves to experienced musicians and instead measure progress against their own past performance (e.g., three months prior).
We all suck when we start playing the guitar. There's no way around it. Alright? So what I want you to do is stop comparing yourself to guitar players like myself who've been playing for years and some of us, even decades. Instead, I want you to compare yourself to the guitar player you were three months ago and enjoy all the progress you have made.
