A short YouTube video ("You Know Best #shorts") featuring Lauren Bateman in conversation with another speaker. The clip advises business owners to filter coaches' and mentors' recommendations through their own knowledge of their business, recounting that following advice without that filter led to failure. The tone is cautionary and experience-based.
You are the only person.
That knows your business inside and out.
So when you're getting.
Advice from business.
Coaches and mentors, make sure to filter it through your business knowledge and expertise. There have been a number of times where I was given business advice or told to do something.
By a mentoring.
Coach and then I applied it to.
My business and.
It totally blew up.
In my face because I trusted my advisor.
Than I trusted.
My understanding of my own business.
So why Business coaches like myself may have a lot of experiences handling the ins and outs and.
The ups and downs of business.
Always filter.
Our advice through the lens of your business.
