I just got laid off. I just got home. Been working on the same project for the past 15, 16 months. Went through over 10 developers, ended up with a team of five. Had some designers, outsourced. It felt right at the end it was going correct, but it ended. Now I'm looking for a job, grinding it out, figuring it out. So my name is Phil. I've been programming for around six or seven years. I'm 35. I changed careers when I was around 29. Worked at Plenty of startups, started some startups, you know, succeeded here and there, failed here and there. I went through a lot. I turned my life around with the programming and coding and met my wife at a coding meetup. Got married recently, have a kid of 17, 18 months. And it's pretty cool, you know, I always think it's about the progress and not the result. I'm gonna just go on this adventure of finding a new job, starting this YouTube, just being super open and honest about my situation and what I'm doing, and try to find people that want to relate to that. It's just super hard because I think there's a lot of layoffs going around in, you know, these past years, especially in it. I thought it wasn't gonna be me, it wasn't gonna be me, but now it is me. It's scary, but I'll just fight through it. It'll be a new adventure. It'll be a journey. I was working on the project for like 16 months. It was a grind. It was wake up early, get off of work late, and, you know, I didn't have a lot of time to do things. So there's a lot of things I need to catch up on. I need to get back in shape. I need to, I don't know, I gotta get my kids, passport and citizenship done. I gotta find a new job at that same time, and I just gotta keep doing things and keep myself busy. So I think it'll be fun and I'll just start something new and it'll become something useful for me and maybe useful for if I have any viewers. It'll be fun there too. I'll post about programming and coding and I'll try to do some screen record coding and it'll be fun and I hope it'll help me just as much as it'll help you guys. All right, later.
