Hi and welcome to the online companion guide to your property success with renovation. And congratulations on taking your next step towards achieving your financial goals and the future you desire. I created this guide to explore the core principles of the book to illustrate what I consider to be the most important learning lessons that I've made on my path to building a multi million dollar property portfolio. I've singled out the critical learnings that amongst many had the greatest impact on my success. And you know what's interesting to me is that there were people who started out at the same time I did 13 years ago, yet for whatever reason I was able to go much than they did. And I really thought about why. And I don't actually think it's about learning huge amounts of information. In fact, I actually think it's more about the approach to learning and what you learn. What information do you actually need to know? What is the information that is relevant to you now in order for you to take the next step? Of course, this then needs to be combined with a structured approach to to put what you've learned into action straight away. This is what I believe sets people who are successful apart from those who don't get very far or have real success. Because it's not enough alone to have obtained the knowledge. That knowledge then needs to be put into actions and applied in a systematic way. And this is what I teach people how to do. Now, it does take some work, I certainly don't want to sugarcoat that. But all of these skills and techniques that I'm referring to are learnable. And just by applying these core principles alone that I'm going to illustrate for you here in this companion guide, you are going to be miles ahead of 95% of people out there who are simply winging it without really understanding the bigger picture. And this is what drives me to share what I've learnt from my experiences with others. It really doesn't have to be complicated at all. And for those who are successful, it rarely is. And I shudder when I hear about those people who have spent tens of thousands of dollars on expensive, well marketed programs only to end up overwhelmed or not where they need to be, and in some cases ending up without much of a deposit left over for their purchase. So before we start, I just want to address one more thing that I see from time to time and that is a limiting belief that some people have people walk about putting up all types of obstacles in their way, obstacles and excuses, for instance. That won't work for me because fill in the blank now that's mindset. For instance, you hear there isn't the same opportunities today as there were 10 years ago. Well, I can tell you 10 years ago I used to hear people say there isn't the same opportunity today as there were 10 years ago. So maybe it's 20 years ago. So you get my drift. The reality is there is opportunity out there in every time and every market because the fundamentals that we use don't change. Yes, we may have a few extra tools these days, software, which I love, but the underlying principles of identifying the right property that fits in with your property investing strategy and criteria remains the same. So my job in this video companion guide is to get what's inside my head into yours. You'll be learning from video and audio content, as well as some really valuable downloadable support material.
