In this instructional YouTube video, the presenter expands on his earlier "9 rules for creating the Latino economic revolution" by offering nine concrete, free or low‑cost financial tools that Latino families in the United States can use to take control of their money, build wealth, and protect themselves. The tools are presented in a step‑by‑step format: (1) check credit reports and scores via annualcreditreport.com and CreditKarma; (2) create a Social Security account at ssa.gov to view future benefits and verify earnings records; (3) track spending with free budgeting apps such as Rocket Money, EveryDollar, GoodBudget, or Honeydue; (4) build an emergency fund using high‑yield online savings accounts (Ally, Marcus, Capital One, Synchrony); (5) invest spare change automatically with Acorns; (6) open a brokerage or robo‑advisor account with Fidelity, Vanguard, or Betterment; (7) file federal taxes for free through irs.gov (including the Spanish portal); (8) protect against financial abuse by filing complaints at consumerfinance.gov; and (9) learn about life insurance via the nonprofit lifehappens.org. The presenter frames these resources as practical steps toward a Latino economic revolution, urging viewers to apply the tools, share the video, and follow his channel.

Hey everyone, recently I shared the 9 rules for creating the Latino economic revolution, and that video got over 178,000 views. Those were the rules. Today I want to give you something even more powerful, and these are the tools, real tools every Latino family in America can use to take control of their money, build wealth, and create a better future. Now let's start. Tool number 1: know your credit. Go to annualcreditreport.com. You can download your credit reports for free from the 3 major credit bureaus. Those would be Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. And if you want to see a free credit score, you can also check creditkarma.com. Now creditkarma.com doesn't give you the exact score lender uses, but it gives you a good idea of where you stand. Tool number 2, create your account at ssa.gov. That's the Social Security Administration site. Now this lets you see what your future Social Security benefits may look like, and for many people this becomes a wake-up call to start saving and investing more for retirement. You can also check to see if Social Security has been posting your correct income every year. Tool number 3: track your money. Download a free budgeting app like Rocket Money or the free version of EveryDollar or GoodBudget or Honeydue. Honeydue, that would be with a D-U-E. Now, you can't control money if you don't know where it's going. Tool number 4: build an emergency fund. Open up a high-yield online savings account separate from your brick-and-mortar banks. Brick-and-mortar banks hardly pay anything, so some good options include Ally Bank, Marcus, Capital One, Synchrony Bank. Now this becomes your financial safety net when life throws surprises your way. Tool number 5: invest your spare change. Apps like acorns.com allow you to invest your spare change automatically. Small amounts invested consistently can grow into something powerful over time. Tool number 6: open up an investment account. You can start investing with companies like Fidelity or Vanguard or Betterment. Now ownership is the most powerful way to build wealth in America. Tool number 7, you can file your tax return for free. Go to the irs.gov website and look for free file to file your return. Now there's also a Spanish site and it's irs.gov/espanol. Okay, tool number 8, protect yourself from financial abuse. Visit consumerfinance.gov. Now this is the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's website. So if a financial company treats you unfairly, this is where you can file a complaint. Tool number 9: Learn about life insurance. If you want to understand about life insurance before you buy it, visit lifehappens.org. It's a nonprofit that helps families learn how to protect their loved ones and make smart insurance decisions. Mi gente, this is how we build the Latino economic revolution, not just with motivation, but with the knowledge, the discipline, and the tools that already exist for us to succeed. Our community works hard. Now it's time for our money to work hard for us too.
