You know, I hear people say, I'm first generation. Well, so am I. My parents were born in Mexico and I was the first in my family born in the United States. And I'm proud of that, but I want to push us to think differently. What if we stopped defining ourselves by where our story started and defining ourselves by where we're going? Don't just be the first generation, be the next generation. The one that builds wealth, that creates businesses, that invests, and that leads. Our parents gave us a gift of opportunity, not money, opportunity. We honor that gift by going further, by refusing to be boxed in. Your past explains you, but it does not define your ceiling. So don't wear first-gen as a label. Wear it as proof that you know how to build. Be the next generation, the one that leaves every child with more opportunity than the one before. That's how we truly honor the sacrifice. Follow me to be part of the Latino economic movement we're building.
