You have to believe that wealth is possible for you. Now, I grew up in East Los Angeles, and growing up, I knew a lot of hardworking people. People who often worked 2 or 3 jobs, people who sacrificed for their families, people who could stretch a dollar farther than anybody I knew. But here's what I didn't see very often: people who believed that they could actually become wealthy. And that's a problem, because before you can build wealth, you have to believe that wealth is possible for someone like you. And for a lot of us Latinos, that's not always easy. Maybe nobody in your family owned investments. Maybe nobody in your family talked about retirement accounts, or nobody taught you about building a business or buying real estate or creating generational wealth. So sometimes we grow up believing that's for other people. No, it's for you too. You don't have to stop being generous. You don't have to stop helping your family. You don't have to forget where you came from. You can build wealth and have corazón. But first, you have to give yourself permission to believe that I can do this because wealth doesn't begin with money; it begins with belief. Please follow me for more content on Finances con Corazón.
