Demand Respect: Build Wealth, Don’t Beg

Louis Barajas says Latino and marginalized people face judgment based on last name, accent, and skin color. Respect cannot be earned by asking for it. Build economic power through entrepreneurship and investment instead, and stop tolerating disrespect.

Hey, this is Luis Barajas, and if you feel like you're not being respected, it might not be about them. It might be what you're still tolerating. So let me tell you something that might hit a little hard. In this country, you're not always judged by your heart. You're not always judged by your values. Sometimes you're going to be judged by your last name, your accent, and the color of your skin. And that's real. And here's what's also real. We don't get to control how people see us, but we do get control how we show up. And too many of us have been taught to stay quiet, to not make waves, and to be grateful for whatever we get. No more. No more. Because respect doesn't come from asking for it. It comes from building something so strong that cannot be ignored. We don't need to beg for a seat at the table. We need to own the table. We need to build businesses, invest our money, support each other, and stop tearing each other down. Because divided, we struggle, but unidos, we become unstoppable. Now, this is bigger than money. This is about financial dignity. This is about walking into any room and knowing your worth before anyone else decides it for you. So if you believe it's time we stop playing small and start building real wealth together, drop unidos in the comments, and please help our Finanzas con Corazón community grow by following my page, liking and engaging, and becoming part of our Latino economic revolution.
