A short motivational monologue by Louis Barajas (YouTube, Feb 27, 2024) reflecting on how constant busyness can distract from meaningful life priorities. Using a pastor’s line—"if the devil doesn't make you bad, he makes you busy"—Barajas urges listeners to pause, reprioritize, and choose purposeful, joy-filled activities over frantic activity that feels productive but is not fulfilling.

Do you ever feel like you're always running around with a million things on your plate? I know that I do. Well, I heard a pastor once say that if the devil doesn't make you bad, he makes you busy. But what exactly does that mean? It's all about how distractions and busyness can keep us from focusing on what truly matters in life. So instead of getting caught up in the chaos, take a step back and prioritize what's important to you. Next time you feel overwhelmed and stressed out, remember that being constantly busy doesn't always mean you're being productive or fulfilled. It's okay to slow down, take a breath, and reevaluate your priorities. Don't let the devil of busyness take control of your life. Focus on what truly brings you joy and fulfillment. And remember, it's not about being bad or good. It's about living a purposeful and meaningful life.
