So a few people have reached out to me because I did an earlier social media post on that. You should. One of the first things you should do this year is sit down and write down your goals. And they said, well, where do I start? I'm having a hard time thinking about my goals. So one of the worksheets that I use on my Achieving Financial Greatness workshop that you can find on my website is something that's called the Roles Revealer. And so what I would love for you to think about is I'm going to give you different ways to think about your goals. Right. And the way I do it is I sit down and write down all the roles that I play in life. So, for example, I'm a husband, I'm a father, I'm a grandfather, I'm a entrepreneur, I'm an employer, I'm a financial planner, I'm an author. So I write down all these roles that I play in life. And I said, you know, what goal is really important for me for in 2024 going forward as a role as a husband? Right. And so one of the things that I realized in 2023 that I worked so hard, spent so much time working, didn't spend a lot of time with Angie. And so what we did is, is that the goal is that her and I spend some more intimate time together, traveling and where there's. There are no distractions. So in. Angie and I have gotten together, and we've already planned a few trips for 2024. We've got an Alaska cruise coming sometime in June. We're planning some other trips. We were already planning New Year's Eve for 2024, 25. And so. And then I'm tying them aligning my. My budget to that. Right. The next goal is I am a father. What is. What is it that I want to sit down? And what's important to me as a father? And what. What kind of goal would I want to have? The next thing is I'm a grandfather. What kind of goals would I want to do to be a wonderful grandfather? Right. One of the things that I. When I'm working with somebody, I say on a scale of 1 to 10, how important it is to be a grandfather for you? Well, in my situation, it's a. It's a 10. Okay, so then how are you aligning your values of love and spending time with your grandchildren and your wallet or your. Your finances? So that's what I'm doing. I'm aligning my budget. I'm aligning my values and I'm aligning my role and I'm putting that together. But I need to be clear and more specific is what do I want to do with my grandchildren? So 2024, again, is spending a little bit more time with them, more intimate time with my, my grandkids. And, and so go through the line, what sit down and write down what are your roles? If you're, if you want that worksheet or other worksheets that I've created for financial planning coaching tools, you'll find it on the Achieving Greatness site. When you go to my Luis Barajas.com to our program, achieving Financial Greatness, you'll see it there. And then again, reach out to me if you guys need help.
