Let me tell you something that might be hard to hear. If you want to grow in life, you can't have thin skin. Now, I've worked with people at the highest levels and I've worked with people just starting out. And here's what I've learned. The difference isn't talent. The difference is standards. High-level people want to be pushed. They ask for feedback. They want to know what they're doing wrong. Why? Because they understand that correction is the price of growth. But a lot of people say they want to get better until you tell them the truth. And then what happens? Well, I've seen it 100 times. They get defensive. They take it personal. They shut down. And then, the moment you get defensive, you stop growing. Let me say that again. The moment that you get defensive, you stop growing. And I've learned this the hard way too, that if you stay in environments where the standard is low, eventually, you'll start lowering yours just to fit in. No pressure, no accountability, no growth, just comfort. But comfort doesn't build a life you're capable of. So, if you really want to grow, don't run from pressure. Don't run from correction. Run toward it. Find the people who will challenge you. Find the people who will tell you the truth. Find the people who won't let you stay average because that's not criticism. That's someone believing you're capable of more. Please follow me.
