So at what age should you stop saving and start spending? Here's the answer. There's no magic age, but there does come a point when your money has to start doing the job you saved it for. For most of your life, you were told save, invest, delay gratification, build for the future. Now that was great advice, but then one day you're 60, 65, 70, and you're still scared to spend any of it. That's where I think people get stuck because your 60s are not the same as your 80s. You may have more energy now. You may want to travel. You may want to take your family somewhere. You may want to enjoy your money while your your health is still strong. I'm not saying to blow through your savings. I'm saying to build a plan that gives you permission to spend because at some point your money should stop just sitting there growing and start helping you live. The goal was never just to build wealth. The goal was to build a life. Please follow me for more content with finances con corazón.
